Overview
Much like the Funny Hat bill, 2009 Bill of Human Relations, Well-Being, and Overall Good Natured Fun, and New Cabinet Position Bill of April 2009 before it, this bill was intended to dampen the serious atmosphere and inject more humor into AH.com Politics.
History
Deputy Prime Minister maverick (E) submitted this bill to the Lower House of Parliament on April 24, 2009. MP Susano (FFF) commented: “It needs some random exclusions. I say we should exclude tortoises. Oh, and spiders, definitly exclude spiders!” and proposed an amendment: “II. Excluded from this are tortoises and spiders, which under no circumstances may be brought into parliament. Bears shall only be allowed ino parliament if they can dance Polka and demonstrate that at request.” maverick (E) agreed, “You're right, I fucking hate spiders…” and added Susano's amendment to the bill.
Text of Legislation
Whereas this place is too serious, be it enacted that:
I. Every member of Parliament (both houses) shall have the right to bring with them any pet or funny object in order to make this place funny, provided that it fits through the door (thus, as big as an elephant or smaller)
II. Excluded from this are tortoises and spiders, which under no circumstances may be brought into parliament. Bears shall only be allowed ino parliament if they can dance Polka and demonstrate that at request.
Results
Voting in the Lower House of Parliament began on April 24, 2009 and will end on May 1, 2009.
Deputy Prime Minister maverick (E), Susano (FFF), Prime Minister LordInsane (E), Pkmatrix (YSP), TheDarkServant (FFBF), and 09camaro (E) voted AYE.
NONE voted NAY.

With six votes in favor and none against, this bill was passed by the Lower House of Parliament via the expedited passage rules outlined in Article I of the Legislative Procedures Act. It was not opposed by the Landsraad and was signed into law by Acting President Thande on May 20, 2009.
