Extraterrestrial Affairs Act
Overview
In Spring 2008, the Parliament once again became active as the Evil Party made attempts to pass legislation fulfilling their electoral promises. This was the second piece of legislation considered since his President Midgard returned to AH.com.
History
Vice President Sargon (E) suggested the establishment of an AH.com Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission on May 3, 2008. This was endorsed and supported by Historyfan 92 (YSP), Nekromans (YSP), kidblast (YSP), Gladi (E), and Prime Minister Douglas (E). In addition, Gladi (E) proposed establishing a Commission for Evaluation of Establishment of Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission.
Text of Legislation
The Parliament shall establish an AH.com Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission.
Results
On May 5, Vice President Thande, Chairman of the Yorkshire Socialist Party, announced the YSP's support for this measure. With both halves of the Evil/YSP coalition in agreement, this measure was passed by the majority. As of June 1, 2008, no one has been appointed to the EAC yet.
