Mate a wank is when you make the country itself huge not the just the flag.
Created this, I don't exactly know what it is but It looks good as a flag, would easilt fit in Scandenavia:
IWW/Syndicalist America. Maybe needs more black somewhere there, but couldn't make it look that good.
This is the alternative:
Black stripes, might I suggest?
I get the DUtch and Swedish, I personally think Scandenavia in general but why Africa?
A new country gets created in scandenavia and is heavily influenced by Africa?
I made one in the style of the British Isles, probbably not on the Irish island.
The Union of Socialist American Republics(1932-?)
This is a flag of a nation from a timeline i've already defined.
After the trotskyst regime is instated and USA becomes the USAR, the structure of the states is reformed leading to less centralization, each state getting more autonomy. This plan backfires as the economic crisis of the early 30s is still present as of 1936. Trotsky is eliminated from power by his second in command, Alexander Herbert Miller, in 1937. With Miller in command a paradigm shift ensues. Miller starts the Industrial and Agricultural Rebuilding Project, which consisted of specializing each state in a single industry or agriculture. However this means a large part of the populatian has to be relocated, even against their will. A secret police organization is formed to take this task but this only worsens the situation. As WW2 begins many forced labour camps have been built in Alaska. WW2 is short and by 1942 the Third Reich occupies Britain, without startling the Soviet Union. The Allies surrender. And this causes trouble as the USAR now shared borders with the Reich.
The Reich attempts to stirr things up in South America, but the communist influence is too strong, resulting in all south american states including Mexico to turn communist by 1952, except for Brazil, which joins forces with the Reich. The communist american states form a millitary alliance known as the Red Front.
During the '60s a series of alleged terrorist attacks by fascist sympathizers causes a brief war between the USAR and the Reich, resulting in a mutual agreement to create a neutral buffer state, which later becomes democratic. Since neither side wanted to break the truce and invade it, it reamained democratic.
The flag has been adopted after Miller took the power and depicts his plan. The cogwheel and the wheat represent the industry and the agriculture, the objectives; and the eagle the "american spirit" which is the way to achieve those objectives.
As president Herbert Hoover was begining his time in the office the Great Depression was abrewing, an event which would question and ultimately overthrow the free market. As the depression left people without food, they were left without ideals as well, losing any faith in capitalism. As such many became adepts to,predominantely, marxism and the technocracy.
On the 5th of October 1931, President Hoover is assassinated, by socialist rebel groups. This triggers nation wide chaos as various factions fight each other, while the authorities are unable to pacify the population. Seizing the opportunity, Leon Trotsky, flees to California, where he unites the various socialist rebels under one movement, forming the American Party of Workers and Farmers. In the coming year nationwide riots turn into a complete revolution. The old goverment is abolished, and the Union of Socialist American Republics is formed.

Nice work on this flag! So, that's flags from two of the three factions of TTL's Americas... do you plan to do the third faction's flag soon?
Actually, can someone please just come up with a scenario that leads to this flag.
