    Reading through this has been interesting and things are not looking good now, what with France doing rearmament and Germany looking as if it's pulling a Japan. Can slowly see the kindling being stacked.

    I've not got an exact list but the divide in March 1933 are as follows:
    • Democratic - 32
    • Progressive - 32
    • Republican - 30
    • Socialist - 2
    As you suggest, the Senate isn't as important TTL, its power being steadily eroded as the US moves towards parliamentary government.
