I would like to read this TL.
It's based on something I used to work on in free time during high school.
Major points were
Royalists win the English Civil War, Cromwell is executed, and whats left of the New Model Army flees to New England, which declares independence from England.
Decades later, a wounded Edward Teach and his fellow pirates migrate up north and are hired by New England to serve as part of the navy, only to overthrow the harsh puritan theocracy.
Jonathan Edwards's ship was named The Angry Sinner, and the figure head was a spider. The spirit of the enlightenment combines with pirate democracy and spreads to the other colonies.
I assume the Libertalian Party is leading in all the polls?
Just behind the Flying Gang of course!

This is actually interesting. Would be nice to see all the other famous pirates in the Golden Age of Piracy gradually joining in.

Huh, a United States of New England where pirate democracy and long suppressed Levelers built a functioning society would be really interesting. Would spiders be symbolic to the new regime? The idea of Jonathan Edwards overthrowing a theocracy and becoming a pirate lord/founding father is incredibly amusing to me, and the skull on the flag (aside from being a heritage symbol of sorts) could also be a momento mori about the fate of unjust governance. How they expand both on land (against Royalist colonies and Indian tribes) and at sea (a slice of the Caribbean somehow? New English Haitian Libertalia?) would be interesting, along with how absolutist the Crown becomes after winning in the first place.

The original idea from 11th grade was the revolution happening around 1720/1721 or so and the pirates establish themselves in Massachusetts. From there, a kind of new world Hanseatic League/confederation of city states pops up that stretches from Rhode Island to Maine. Over time, some pirates would move inland an establish new pirate republics on the great lakes and harrass Colonial Canadian ships that travel through the area.

England, France, Spain, and the Netherlands would routinly bombard and attack the Pirate republic, but also pay them off to fight and harass the other empires during times of tension. By the 1770s or so, Pirate Republicanism had spread to the British colonies, becoming popular in secret societies like the Freemasons and Sons of Freedom. Thus, the American Revolution begins in Virginia and Maryland, leading to them, as well as North Carolina, joining with the pirate republics and renaming themselves the United States of America.

The USA is mainly coastal, but with more numerous republics in the interior, including some native ones, such as Tecumseh's Confederacy. There is a conflict in 1812 when Louisiana, under the control of Jean Lafitte, declares independence from the French crown and is assisted by the Americans Andrew Jackson, Davy Crockett, and others.

Man, I really should return to this idea and make it a timeline!

Flag of The Army of the Ugandan Church of Latter-Day Saints
The Ugandan Church of Latter-Day Saints (ULDS) is an offshoot of the mainstream LDS church which was founded by American missionary Arnold Cunningham in northern Uganda in 2011. It is officially disavowed by, and unaffiliated with, the mainstream Church of Latter-day Saints. Cunningham, while on a mission trip to Uganda, substantially altered large sections of the three canonical sacred texts of the Latter-day Saints movement (Old Testament, New Testament, and the Book of Mormon), and introduced a fourth "Book of Cunningham," itself composed of invented or adapted stories featuring characters, situations, and concepts from western science fiction and fantasy, most prominently Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings. Uniquely, the Book of Cunningham is considered by ULDS adherents to be a book of parables that are understood to be true only in a non-literal, non-historical sense.
The Army of the Ugandan Church of Latter-day Saints was formed some time after the explusion of the Church from the mainstream LDS church in early 2012. Following this, and the conversion and incorporation of a large number of warlords and mercenaries, eventually re-consolidating into an anti-government rebel group on its own. Early in its existence, the Church was lauded for its significant efforts in combating the practice of female genital mutilation in the region; however, as time went on it became increasingly belligerent. The group declared war on the government of Uganda in 2016, following the departure of Elder Cunningham from the group. Arnold Cunningham, accompanied by his wife Nabulungi Cunningham, arrived in Salt Lake City in February of that year; in an interview, Arnold Cunningham remarked "Whew, yeah, that whole thing kind of got out of hand. I hope Elder Buttfuckingnaked can manage things while I'm gone!" In 2018, the Cunninghams reconciled with the mainstream LDS Church and denounced the ULDS, which was placed on the United States Government's list of terrorist organizations later that year.
Today, ULDS controls a sizable swath of Northern Uganda, which it governs as a pseudo-theocratic military dictatorship with democratic institutions that exist more in theory than in practice. The current leader of the Church, General Buttfuckingnaked, who was an early convert to the religion, is now one of the most powerful warlords in the region.

Flag of the German peasant republic
This is the flag of the German republic or in TL German "Teudshes gemeinwol", which was formed during the Thirty Years' War duo to the destruction and chaos that the war brought over Germany. The founders of the republic killed every monarch and clergy man that they could get based on the ideology of the founder Dederiek Kramer, who's ideology (which is called Communism but is still different that our 19th century based communism) states that no man can rule man with the right of God, because God created all man equal (thus also no Jesus or prophets, because there can be no middleman between God and man), which means that there can be no monarchs and no church in the classical sense, instead Christianity is replaced by Dietsglauben (people's faith). Monarchism is replaced by an semi-direct democratic federal system, where each Reichskreis has it's own Dietstag (People's thing, like the council), which are subordinant of the Großteudsher Dietstag, each Reichkreis has it's own laws, primitive proto-police forces, parliament and official languages. It's kinda like the early US, Switzerland and Dithmarschen. The republic is rather isolationist and xenophobic, allowing no non-German immigrants, only Germans from the lost territories (everything from the Rhine, Schleswig, Holstein, Verden, Carniola, South Tyrol, Silesia, Lusatia and Hither Pomerania (the Netherlands and Switzerland are part of Germany, although thanks to the destruction of the war everything in the netherlands below sea level is now underwater)). Jews, Roma, Wends and Sorbs are allowed their languages, but their faiths (Christianity and Judaism) are forbidden (althought the leadership and many people have a fascination and interest of Paganism, so much that Paganism isn't forbidden with the idea that the thinking of ruling over people with the right of God is an abrahamic thing. Often mixing Pagan ideas with Nationalistic ideas to form a völkisch like idea). Germany puts a lot of effort into Technology and education, because thanks to lossing 50% of their population, Germany needs a way to maximise a small work force efficient as much as they can. Thus they started a early mass public school and standardization system across the country aswell as a primitive early industrial revolution in the 1690s. And with a total fertility rate of 5,4, the population is slowly rising while getting smarter and richer. Germany is aiming to get revenge. Revenge for it's lost lands, it's lost people and it's lost pride. Are the old powers of Europe ready for this challenge?

And a flag for a Communist Greece:

The hammer and sickle feels a bit overused considering OTL it was used on only 1 national flag (USSR). Greek communist during the civil war used the delta (for "Demokratia ") so that red triangle near the hoist might be enough by itself.

While it might make sense in your ATL, reusing the rebel emblem from star wars in a completely different context feels a bit odd.

A flag for the Maritimes Provinces:
View attachment 545450

by itself, the scottish royal emblem doesn't represents Nova Scotia but rather Scotland so you might want to have a quarter that includes the blue on white saltire. The single gold leopard on red might indicate a connection with england when used in chief but if used by itself as a quarter, it would actually represent Guyenne. If the five stars represents 5 constituent members (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, Newfoundland and ?), It feels like some other arms would be more appropriate.

I'm more concerned about colors. I'd like to stick to three, instead of the four that's in there now, but I'm not sure how to go about it.
