yeah that's fairI'd likely want to keep significant years on the main post regardless (ex: keeping 2020, since it's a deccenial year), and then updating a current year map with an archive of past current years in a spoiler tag.

the closest thing i could find is in this post: https://www.alternatehistory.com/fo...tl-worlda-series.436046/page-67#post-20819226, though we would need an official oneIs there an ocean height map?
Neat.View attachment 688819
Speaking of oceans, here's a worlda if all the ice on Earth melted.
Is this based on the original ice melt worlda? I seem to remember that one had too much sea level rise. Was that ever refuted or is this not base on that one?View attachment 688819

I actually hadn't heard about that, so I'm not really sure.Is this based on the original ice melt worlda? I seem to remember that one had too much sea level rise. Was that ever refuted or is this not base on that one?
I immediately notice that part of Crimea should be above water. The highest point in Crimea is over 1500 m. Also, I think the Saint Lawrence estuary should go much further inland, nearly to Lake Ontario and definitely including Lake Champlain (somewhat relevant wikipedia page). Other than that, I don't notice anything.I actually hadn't heard about that, so I'm not really sure.
It was based on an older sea level rise map, but if it's inaccurate, I can fix that

also a good chunk of the borders on that map are based from older worlda maps (that have been redrawn)View attachment 689134
Fixed it up a little
Wouldn't part of the Hawaiian islands be above water? AFAIK all islands from Necker Island and southeast of it, plus Gardner Island, have parts that are taller than 70 meters in elevation.View attachment 689134
