That's a cool map. I had no idea about most of these. Thanks for bringing them to my attention.View attachment 521162
Here's a thing I did, showing current governments-in-exile around the world. Not entirely sure if it belongs here but oh well.
Native states (mostly kingdoms or tribal confederations) of the northern great lakes region during the second half of the 19th century.
When did Belgium/Leopold rule that section of what's now the Central African Republic?
Great map! I like especially like the detail you showed in Indonesia.being told a bunch of time this image is too big (for some reason, it's only slightly over 500kb?) i've managed to upload my otl 1900 map here.
Interesting. I did not know that local monarchies there had been Congolese client states. Wikipedia has very little bout those states, do you have any good material on them, or happen to know what ethnic groups ruled Rafai and Zemio? Those are the Sultanates of Rafai and Zemio, vassals of the Congo Free State

Amazing work! However:

It's interesting that the Zande states were sultanates, as, from what I understand, Islam is not a major religion among the Zande people today. These are the only places I've been able to find any info on them
Kingdoms of Africa - Central Africa
Coverage of the various historical cultures, rulers, and states of Africawww.historyfiles.co.uk
Looks like both were Zande.
Amazing work! However:
Yunnan-Sichuan border is incorrect
Hunan and Jiangxi should be seperate
Shandong-Zhili border is in incorrect
Anhui-Jiangsu border is incorrect
Anhui-Jiangxi border is incorrect
Xinjiang should be a province
Qinghai should be a non-province administrative division
Tibet shouldn't de facto or de jure own Chamdo
tl; dr, the internal boundaries should look like this (ignore the external boundaries, they're the maximum of Qing claims and don't reflect the de facto situation)
