The idea for the symbol is the compass rose and pole star, and can be said represent unity and guidance (and whatever Kanan decides it represents ).

With the opposition leader who stands to nakedly benefit supporting this, I am standing with the Greens of Adirondack and think that the citizens of Great Park could use some new representation.
It's this sort of mix of black & white political intent and results that makes Kanan's TL both engrossing and realistic.I don't know how 'old growth' the Great Parks region is. But presuming it isn't an ancient forest Mcdonald's move makes sense financially and is well-within the spirit of environmental conservatism. The forests won't be 'preserved' but a true forest preserve shouldn't even have hiking trails or allow any humans. It's good to see the Opposition cooperating on this move. However the financial motivation of Stefanik does hurt the optics of the bill. Which gives the Greens plenty of material to win elections with...
