Great work so far, definitely changing to this scheme if it's this detailed

Major problem with the Arabia palette: For a long period in the 19th century, the Sauds and Rashidis were at war and existed simultaneously. You also have separate colours for the Rashidis and Jabal Shamar -- the two are different names for the same early modern era political entity.

Oh but I mean the Rashidun Caliphate, that of Muhammad not the Rashidis. That's why I put Jabal Shammar in the first place, not to cause confusion (but it seems it happened anyways). I'll just change it to "Muhammad's Domains"

Another lovely addition! You could, instead ofO "extremely wealthy state" go for an "Objectivist/ultra-capitalist state" maybe?

And add "recent slaveholders/slaveocrats" to Qatar?

Another good part here! I would advocate some further colours though:

• Far-left Turkey
• add "Far-right/militarist Turkey" (maybe to Pamphylia)?
• A specific Hittite colour
• far-left Kurdistan/PKK

Actually all of these were on the original plan for this, but I skipped them by accident while looking at ancient regions and beyliks.

I would suggest that you make Syria and the Umayyads share a colour and make Najd and Saudi Arabia share a colour, since those pairs were pretty similar to each other. Najd and Saudi Arabia are basically the same thing.

If you merge Syria with the Umayyads, @Drex , we should get a colour for a far-left and a far-right Syria.

For a far right Syria just use any colour of the 3 jihadist colours. There was that Syrian National Socialist Party thing, but just assume is some of these aswell. For a far-left Syria, both Rojava and Syrian Rebels are "left". I think not every country needs a far-right/far-left colour, I want to keep these mostly for "Relevant countries". And I don't see Syria as on of them.

Anyhow, if you feel they should be there, this scheme is easy to edit, so you can replicate and insert colours if you like.

At least "far-left Persia" and "far-right Central Asia/Mohammed-Reich" should be included here, @Drex , as both were actually planned. For Persia, you should also include a Zoroastrian Persia and a separate Gilan colour (as well as "Persian Kurdistan" and/or "Mahabad".
