International NFL
June 10, 2005:

Europe

The new reports of NFL Europe being folded were false, as the league has seen new life bred into it due to passionate fans finally filling up the stadiums due to one of two reasons. One is the revitalized interest due to the European scene getting more NFL coverage last year, a fact that went mostly unstated in the ranks of the Americans. Secondly, the quality of play has improved drastically thanks to more Americans coming over from more important colleges and as refugees from the penalized USC and Miami teams, just like the Arena Leagues in the United States. Among the excelling markets are: Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Barcelona, and London, despite Wembley being a year away from completion. The league is looking to garner as much attention without the NFL label, which they are negotiating as of now.

In other news, the NFL confirmed that there will be games in Sao Paulo's Morumbi, Barcelona's Olympic Stadium, Estadio Azteca, and Wembley Stadium all coming in 2006. The game is growing at a massive rate globally, but when will the European League break free and sustain this interest while the NFL pushes for games in the regular season of their own? It will be very interesting, that's for sure.

Beltran hits a double and then in the 9th would hit a walk off 2 run home run as the Astros would win 4-2

Meanwhile division rivals Cardinals and possible MVP front runner Albert Pujols for the 2nd time in his career has a 3 home run game and a 10 RBI game as he leads the NL now in home runs RBIs and batting average on a possible quest for the Triple Crown in a 11-3 win with the worst record in baseball the Tampa Bay Devil Rays
