I for one am excited about this! I've always enjoyed HOI4's ability to be modded not only to tell a story but mechanically to produce stuff differently, to keep making things better, and why I lament not being able to make motorized equipment faster. I don't care much for war, I want to make the world a better place, and I like the storytelling. I have gripes about realism and being more down to earth here and there, but that's what
Thousand Week Reich is for.
I can't help but feel the aesthetic of TNO can't decide what it really wants to be. Despite that, I feel this quote from
an episode of the US television program
Drunk History sums up the aesthetic mixed with the mod's timeframe:
"Imagine what it's like to be floating around in the '80s... except this is the '60s."
I need to give Brazil another go sometime, I was deeply impressed when it first released last year and now that it has a little more content I might try that soon, as playing a decade of buggy content in other countries (read: two of the three superpowers) is getting to be tedious honestly.
What's your favorite Brazil path that's been implemented so far, Gukpa?
