After crossing the line in the 1960s and sparking the Fourth Pacific War, the empire is defeated and its successor states are the Syndicalist Republic of Japan and the Hokkaido-based Republic of Ezo.

• Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy by Max Sinister - Japan (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy) from that was defeated in WW2 after the US dropped the bomb on Niigata and Nagasaki in September 1945.
