March on Board

Context

Shortly after the banning of Fergie for profanity and calling doom upon himself, Alternate History Geek took it upon himself to defend the democratic rights of the members that were somehow flouted with his red annoying script.

Interestingly, despite the similarities, the March on Board isn't related to Dahveed's November Coup Attempt.

March

After the banning announcement in the HOI, Alternate History Geek bravely asked for democratic control and elections of the moderator team and the administrator. Despite the members reminding him that Ian *owned* the board, as in, paying for it, Alternate History Geek stood firm: people vote for their representative in real life, and one need not be rich to become a representative, so these should also hold true for AH.com. The fact that Ian and mods aren't representative, and neither elected, was a detail.

At this point, Burton K Wheeler came to reaffirm his feudal authority, virtual pitchforks were taken, and some joined the march just before wondering if tyranny wasn't better all things considered, and the crowd rapidly scattered.

Later Events

Despite the failure of the march, Alternate History Geek didn't tone down his beliefs, asking for an happy end regarding Kelsey Macailbert's sockpuppet's banning in the aftermath of the Porn Terrorism attack.

Eventually, Ian demonstrated his tyranny by kicking him, arguing of a so-called “dumb” behaviour (and also his trademark red script) in order to flout Alternate History Geek's democratic ideals.
