Another round of U.S. political parties:
  • Free Speech Coalition - founded in 1991 is a non-profit trade association of the adult film industry in the United States and true political party established in 1992 to defend the personal rights and promotes progressive stance on economic affairs, government intervention in times of health crisis, and direct democracy. however this party is in coalition with the Social Democratic.
  • Democratic Party - is minor political party and old-political party. established in 1828 after split from Democratic-Republican Party and dominates politics until 1860s which is faded into obscurity after rise of Free Unity Party.

  • Appalachian Southern Party - established in 1960 by pro-CS activists and officials. the platform of the party promotes free market and advocates on Southern interests not only the state itself but Missouri and New Mexico others are advocating to secede the states of Appalachia and Missouri to join the Confederate States.
  • Alternative Union of Democracy - established in 2003 by right-wing activists and anti-communist supporters. the party is considered extremist Christians and platform are limiting immigration and cutting ties with Middle Eastern countries. however it was criticized and closer to banned.

I'm curious, is the United States ITTL still heavily Protestant? Especially seeing formerly Spanish colonies are in the USA.

The Southern States seceded after the 1860s war but the United States is more progressive nation than the OTL and there will be an C.S. version of Christian Right and United States is more secular than OTL because of acceptance and political parties from the state of New Netherlands played national role in politics.

I get you, but also it probably wouldn't quite work out that way so quickly. Main thing being that the Dutch colony of New Netherland was Dutch Reformed (a branch of Protestantism), so inclusion of the colony-turned-state of New Netherland would likely do very little

However there was a sharp decline in Reformed Church while they are moderate and secular however Dutch are the third official and largest language in the United States while on the otherside, California was populated by Dutch-descended speaking population and Californian English maybe a mix of English, Spanish, and Dutch due to arrival of Goudmigranten in 1848 but it was an sub-separate identity.

The impact is changes in American English. American English is mixture of English, Spanish, and Dutch loanwords due to historical periods.

How would elvove the french and catholic right in Louisiana?

Even if the confederate is more xenophobic and prone to defend an anglo-saxon culture, Louisiana is a confederate state that participated in the war in their side, in the same time CSA would try to kept link with France, so maybe an exception in Louisiana where the church rest powerful and defend a french culture (in the same time I could see other catholic minorities in the CSA move here). New-Orleans would be quickly divided as Montreal between English and French.
In the late 1960s, a coalition between the Catholics, Baptists, and Evangelicals that form the bloc during the election and becomes the main staple of the Confederate Party after reconciliation treaty and framework plan in order to preserve French culture in the state despite sharp declining population. many Christian Right activists are member of Confederate Party and see that C.S.A. is the most conservative country.

  • 1921-1929: Eugene Debs (Social Democratic - New Netherland)
  • 1929-1933: Herbert Hoover (Liberal - Iowa)
  • 1933-1945: Franklin D. Roosevelt (Social Democratic - New Netherland)
  • 1945-1953: Harry S. Truman (Social Democratic - Missouri)
  • 1953-1960: Dwight Eisenhower (Christian Democratic - New Netherland)
  • 1960-1969: John F. Kennedy (Social Democratic - Massachusetts)

Here, I would suggest a full reform:

  • Debs can stay, as can Hoover. But Debs and Browder should be called "Socialist Party" or "Workers' Party", with FDR and Dewey as the "unifiers" into the Social Democratic Party.
  • 1933-1938: Earl Browder/William Z. Foster
  • 1938-1950: FDR/Norman Thomas
  • 1950-1954: Thomas E. Dewey
  • 1954-1960: Ike (term lengthened to five years!)
  • 1961-1971: JFK/LBJ
  • 1971-1974: Richard Nixon/Spiro Agnew (Watergate scandal - resigns - this results in snap elections!)
  • 1974-1981: Birch Bayh
  • 1981-1991: Ronald Reagan
  • 1991-2001: Corazon Aquino/Al Gore
  • 2001-2006: George W. Bush/Donald Rumsfeld
  • 2006-2016: Barack Obama/Jill Stein
  • 2016-2019: Rodrigo Duterte/George Weah (impeached - snap elections!)
  • 2019-2029: Rohit Khanna/Beto O'Rourke
