Request Maps/Flags/Coats of Arms/Heraldry here, II

It was my understanding that three-pointed star was also the symbol of the Popular Front, at least if Wikipedia can be trusted.
the symbol was used by the communist party in propaganda poster in support of the Popular Front but wasn't used by the Popular Front itself.

The Catalan nation I'm thinking would exist as a somewhat "Third Way" socialist state--opposed to capitalism, but eager to differentiate itself from the heavy-handed political homogeneity of the USSR. Ergo, explicitly referencing a single party on the flag would contradict the principles of this nation.

Are there are symbols, either national or socialist in nature, that were used specifically by Catalans?
Not that I'm aware of but this version of the catalan flag is used OTL by some left-leaning independentists:

Looking for help improving or even radically changing this design. It's for a surviving Kingdom of Jerusalem, with the flag designed to represent the major faiths contained within the kingdom's borders (which I'm envisioning, at this early stage, being OTL Israel and Palestine, Golan, and the Sinai, with a UN-controlled Suez canal). I made this using freely-available Wiki elements, but I'm not in love with it; it's based on the OTL Kingdom of Jerusalem, but with four small symbols of the non-Catholic/Orthodox faiths (clockwise from upper left: Judaism, Eastern Christianity, Samaritanism, Islam). Any suggestions for what to do here? Or anyone able to offer an alternate, more aesthetically pleasing design that somehow merges the general idea?

Alternately, if someone has an idea for how to better represent this in a coat of arms, I am partial to the idea of flags that have the CoA on them!

when there are so many things you want to represent, either have something purely neutral or else have each faith represented as a repetition of the same item: 4 stars, 4 bars, 4 colours, etc....

Indeed, Marc is correct.
Quartering can help maintain a certain cross style from the original:

Crowns if accenting king over all 4 faiths

Edit: of course depending on your pod the arms will differ anyway. See http://www.hubert-herald.nl/JerusalemArms.htm

@Marc Pasquin well yes, although the individual (btw who is he?) sharing the desk with him seems bigger. May I ask you in the future for similar photoshops? I have a few more if you can do them.

  • Enrico Berlinguer & Giorgio Almirante (these actually met but a photo doesn't exist...at least officially)
  • Enrico Berlinguer & Gorbachev
  • Giorgio Almirante & Dragoljub "Draža" Mihailović
It's a fun challenge to do once in a while but I don't really feel like doing a bunch of them.

Thanks to both of you @Marc Pasquin and @The Professor ! I think I'm going to go with the crown idea to make it a bit more neutral, and then represent individual faiths in something separate (ie, not the CoA or the flag itself). Thanks again for the advice!

Hello! I would appreciate it if someone could make me a flag of a fascist and a socialist Portugal --I just want to see how it would look. I can give a monetary incentive for anyone willing.

The fascist flag should be similar to this flag shown, but with the symbols replaced with more appropriate fascistic Portuguese symbols and possibly the Cross of the Order of Christ as well.
The socialist flag should have the current Republican flag as a base for it, with all it's symbols removed, except for the armillary sphere. The colours can be used at your discretion, but green and red are the foundation.
Any suggestions for what to do here? Or anyone able to offer an alternate, more aesthetically pleasing design that somehow merges with the general ideas?

Well the fascistic regime under Salazar used the same flag as the previous so I'm unclear why they would necessarily change anything back.

Portugal under Salazar used the same green and red flag as today. If you wanted to make it look more fascistic, you could put the cross used by the Portuguese Legion (Estado Novo's political militia) behind the shield.

PS : Belgium should also be deep blue instead of azure like Brazil, Norway should be also the same color of Poland. Equitorial Guinea, Gabon, Rwanda and Burundi should be white. Cyprus, Crete and the Greek Islands are in the Exiled Kingdom of Greece. As you may have noted, there is a greater Italy (except Ticino but who the hell wants that?) and Canada has overseas territories.
