Armed with futuristic weapons by time travelers from the future, no doubt.
This is a rough draft of an alternate socialist Germany scenario based on a successful Spartacist uprising led by Karl Liebknecht, the following map shows the inefficiency of the entente to enforce the borders of the treaty of Versailles In Germany due to the civil war in Germany, with the burgundy hue representing the Spartacist-Socialist revolutionaries.
What is the context for this?
A continuation from my Strike Witches worlda map. This time I've done all the geopolitical map of world the series took place and I tried to be as close and faithful to the source material as possible while adding my own from my SW headcanons (in which that the existence of the witches worldwide and their pact in the mid 19th century of convincing the nations their reside to not colonizing or oppressing each others as the Neuroi threat grew stronger) and changing some of the nations name to be more 'catchy' (this of course is subjective but I'll let you guys to be the judge of that).

Anyway here's some list of names of the nations that I've changed:
1. Farway (from Faraway Land. A nation analogous to Canada, for obvious reason)
2. Aztlan (from Azteca, while Aztlan IOTL refers to the hypothetical ancestral homeland of the Aztecs, I think the name sounds more poetic than the boring, crude stereotype-sounding "Azteca")
3. Silberia (from Neue Karlsland. A nation that replaced OTL Argentina in this universe, t's not really elaborated in the series other than it might be still part of Karlsland colonial territory or a fully Independent, ex-colony of the Germanic nation. Also Silber means "Silver" in German, you can guess the reason why)
4. Carlia (from Karlsland, again that name might be work for the Nation's endonym, in my opinion.)
5. Austermarch (from Ostmark. same reason as Carlia/Karsland.. not really the best name that I got tbh.)
6. Orrusia (from Orussia. now double "r" instead of of the "s" to make it sound less lazy and uninspiring. I mean really, Fumikane? calling it Ossetia or Slavia would be good enough than the one you came up with!)
7. Fusan (from Fuso. same reason as Karlsland/Carlia and Ostmark/Austermarch)
anyway let me know what you guys think!
My god, you did it. :O
Nice map! Though I have to ask, is there supposed to be that grey pattern at the bottom or was that a leftover photoshop layer?Completed at last:
Is that my beloved Doggerland? Been meaning to do a TL about the peninsulaA beta version of a distant cover of Municipal Engines "The Antediluvian Histories".
A map of the World after the Atlantian Victory in the 5th Hyperborea War, 4000 years before The God-Head, Jesus of Nazareth was born.
(I think B_Munro is responsible for the extended Antarctica)
