The Raw General Manger election was hosted on the 2006 edition of Survivor Series, incumbent GM Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Eric Bischoff to remain the Raw GM.

I meant to make the 2006 above the pictures a 2008. :/

InfernoMole: Bernie L'Ermite
Bernie L'Ermite (born June 17, 1995) is an American politician, attorney, home builder, inventor and general contractor. A Republican since 2021, Bernie is serving since 2017 as the first Governor of Mermaid Isle. As a hermit crab, L'Ermite is one of the few American governors of non-human descent, and the first to be a governor on Earth.

Born on the shores of Mermaid Isle, Bernie grew up in an undersea city, earning a Master's Degree in engineering in the historically merman-only Poseidon Gymnasia. As a youngling, Bernie befriended Zig, a hyena from an ancient hunting family, and assisted him in his hunts. Years later, following the annexation of Mermaid Isle by the United States following the Thirty Minutes' War, Bernie aligned himself with the American administration, becoming a regional bureaucrat under infamous Texan filibuster Tom Bennett Jr., and gave himself the surname "L'Ermite" under the 2017 Non-Human Naming Law.

In 2017, Bernie L'Ermite ran for gubernatorship, with long-time friend Zig Hyena as his running mate, and won the first gubernatorial elections in Mermaid Isle's history with 97% of the vote, vastly supported by native islanders and primarily opposed by local mermaids and sharks. L'Ermite's first term was marked by extensive reform; the hermit crab became very popular with America for his high approval rating, far-reaching industrialization, education and enfranchisement programs and cool personality, and yet was struck with a scandal involving his lieutenant-governor, Zig Hyena, and the disappearances of several mermaids in the forests of Mermaid Isle, whom Zig allegedly cannibalized according to several witnesses. As such, due to Zig Hyena being put under probation, Bernie L'Ermite chose Astoria Panagopoulou, a mermaid attorney and member of the Mermaid Isle Progressive Party, to replace Zig.

L'Ermite was reelected in 2020 over ex-bodyguard Sharko Shark, soundly defeating the latter with 88% of the popular vote. In his second term, L'Ermite continued his governmental programs, but was struck with far more scandals, notably being accused of fruit embezzlement, drug and weapon trafficking, murders of political dissidents, an overly bloody lustration of the mermaid nobility that existed in the annexed Kingdom, and interspecies marriage. The crab denied each allegation, stating that "as the elections are coming, the dumber specimens of Homo sapiens will do everything in their power to smear their more successful enemies, even if they are a hermit crab" (n. rough translation from High Hermit-Crabese). Time will tell if Bernie L'Ermite survives his second term, particularly considering his noted support of the incumbent President, Foster Fenwick.

On June 5, 1968, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy was shot at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, shortly after winning the California presidential primaries in the 1968 election, by Sirhan Sirhan (a 24-year-old Palestinian/Jordanian immigrant)

The 1968 Democratic presidential primaries were the selection process by which voters of the Democratic Party chose its nominee forPresident of the United States in the 1968 U.S. presidential election. Senator Robert F. Kennedy was selected as the nominee through a series of primary elections andcaucuses culminating in the 1968 Democratic National Convention held from August 26 to August 29, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois.

SoldierOfChrist: Ruben Benítez Abinader
Ruben Benítez Abinader is a veteran Californian diplomat and political theorist who is currently Chairman of the Berkeley Institute of International Relations. He previously served as the Californian Ambassador to the United States, from 2007 to 2014.

Born in La Quinta, Benítez attended primary school in Indio, where his father was active in the local Grange. He joined the Indio Pioneer Youth League at age fourteen, eventually becoming its Junior Secretary. He served for two years in the National Democratic Police Force before attending BIIR. Benítez's early career was spent in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Corps Integrity Division, working with the Intelligence Directorate to vet and monitor candidates for diplomatic assignments. He was posted to the Federation of Central America in 1986, and made Ambassador the next year following Andrew Kerrey's death. Afterwards, he served as Ambassador to Cuba and Texas. In 2003, he was made aware of a planned Texan coup d'état; he counselled inaction and facilitated timely recognition of General Roman O'Brien's new government.

As California's representative in D.C., Benítez attempted to follow the "Sunbeam Policy" of rapprochement championed by former-Premier Robiner with Japan, but the election of isolationist Walter Norquist as U.S. President in 2008 dampened such efforts. One particular sticking point between the two nations were complaints of illegal Californian whaling off the Pacific Coast of the U.S., a charge that Benítez resolutely denied. In 1988, California signed a continental treaty drastically lowering the number of whales each nation could kill annually; over the years, successive American presidents and ecologist groups have charged the Californian whaling industry with circumventing international law. Benítez met with some success fostering cooperation between Californian NGOs and their American counterparts, but by the start of the 2010s, California's relations with its eastern neighbor had cooled significantly, mirroring rising global tensions between the Comintern and Lisbon Pact nations. Benítez was recalled to Berkeley in 2014, succeeded by Californian Ambassador to the LN Isidro Padilla. On October 31, 2017, Benítez resigned from the Central Committee of the CSDP and announced his retirement from party politics, but retained his chairmanship of BIIR.

InfernoMole: Zimbabwean presidential elections of 2086
And now a little more serious one.

The Zimbabwean presidential elections of 2086 were held on 27 March and 24 June 2086, and were the 17th quadrennial elections to be held since the Zimbabwean coup d'etat of 2017. The elections of 2086 were notable for fielding two major candidates of European ancestry, who weren't nominated as presidential candidates until 2072, when Zimbabwean United Front's candidate, right-wing Mayor of Redcliff August Barnard ran an unsuccessful electoral campaign.

Since 2076, the primary ruling party of Zimbabwe was the People's Rally for Zimbabwean Development, a left-wing party that argued for a "new social course" and "national redistribution". The incumbent President, Biria Nyandoro, an elder statesman, economic theorist and trade union leader, was relatively popular with the populace for his healthcare and farming reforms, but was derided by opponents (primarily "the new Zimbabweans" of Bulawayo and Harare and white businessmen) for his economic course, which was unfavorable to private entrepreneurship, at times sounding like the late Robert Mugabe's rhetoric, and dropping industrialization growth rates.

Near the end of Nyandoro's second term, the People's Rally for Zimbabwean Development began to fracture. Biria Nyandoro's authority in the party was only rivaled by Vusa Mnangwe, a neo-Maoist activist and radical communitarianist, and Noah Sibanda, a Hararean technocrat and Minister of National Housing, leading the "Fiorucci" and "Lacroix" factions respectively. With the Nyandoro government's inability to deal with the 2084 economic crisis, student protests at Mount Pleasant and the Beitbridge border post bombing (with the resulting "Beitgate" scandal) efficiently, even Biria Nyandoro supporters in the party, known as the "Gucci" faction, viewed Nyandoro as ineffectual. The Beitgate broke the party, resulting in Mnangwe leading his supporters to form the People's Rally for Zimbabwean Development – Rally for Justice (PRZD–RJ) and numerious Lacroix members joining other parties, such as the People's Democratic Party. The mainstream PDZP was weakened, and, following a "revision of program and structure", was unified under a younger, technocratic leadership, rechristening itself Rally for Zimbabwean Development – National Distribution (PRZP–ND). They would nominate Rynold Muller, ex-Mayor of Kwekwe, Minister of Youth Affairs and one of the few members of Nyandoro's cabinet who wasn't controversial with the leadership of PRZP–ND. In response, the Liberal Democrats, a fairly minor centre-right party, nominated Marlene Donaghue, MP from Bulawayo. While PDZP–ND easily continued to the round, Liberal Democrats becoming PDZP–ND's primary opposition was a bit of a shock for many Zimbabweans.

The campaign was intense, with both Donaghue and Muller keen on mud-slinging (with Donaghue infamously calling her opponent a "low-energy twit" and "Mugabe fanboy") and campaigning actively in various parts of the country. Donaghue infamously held a speech in Mount Pleasant, calling on for voters to "be energized and vote energetically, so our great country, Zimbabwe, would go on to be energized and productive". In the end, however, Marlene Donaghue won the elections by a decisive margin, and took office on 28 June, becoming Zimbabwe's first white President.

The presidents of the United States of America in The Crossroads of Destiny, including pre-PoD presidents but not including the incumbent because everything's up in the air about that.

Aside from the typical election game shenanigans (tons of parties, naked expies of both real people and fictional characters from pop culture, blatant self-inserts, etc.), that's a lot of presidents who died in office.

Post-POD, you guys have killed off twice as many presidents (13- Crittenden, de Clinton, Dewey, Blaine, Muller, Bonaparte, Fitzgerald, Hoover, Orléans, Jones, Bell, Potter, Murillo) than died in office IOTL (6- Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, Harding, F. Roosevelt, Kennedy) in a similar period of time.
