For real though, I already have the general election maps mapped out so that's a coincidence. The timeline goes somewhat like this:

2005- 2009: Fmr. Senator Gary Hart (D-CO) / Governor Dave Freudenthal (D-WY)
2004 def. President George W. Bush (R-TX) / Vice President Dick Cheney (R-WY), Advocate Ralph Nader (I-CT) / Mr. Peter Camejo (I-CA)
2008 def. Senator George Voinovich (R-OH) / Governor Mike Huckabee (R-AR), Fmr. Rep Ron Paul (L-TX) / Mayor Ed Thompson (L-WI)

2009 - 2009: Vice President Dave Freudenthal (D-WY)
2009 - 2013: President Dave Freudenthal (D-WY) / Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT)

2013 - Present: Senator Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) / Senator Phil Scott (R-VT)

White/Euorpean: 80% Republican,20% Democratic
Black: 10% Republican,90% Democratic
Hispanic: 15% Republican,85% Democratic
Asian/Native American/Others: 20% Republican,80% Democratic.

Of course minority turn out is similar to white or higher across the board.

uh 1960s with Johnson on the democrat ticket either as president or VP? A yank balances out the democratic ticket. For the republicans, a right wing ticket? For the map, something like this:

Johnson isn't involved and it's not set in the 60s... your map is close but a handful of states are wrong.
