That's obviously an orbis tertius symbol showing Asia, Europe, and Africa, all coloured in "traditional race colours"' I'm assuming green is a reference to Earth in general? Not sure what the horizontal blues reference since they're on a north-south axis relative to the OT; if east-west I would assume arctic-tropic-equatorial waters.i decided to whip up a flag that could be used by a mapmakers' society. try to guess the symbolism

pretty much, except for the green. that's sea green, specifically, and is supposed to be another component of the T-and-O map element in the center
Hey, so this is the flag of the United Kingdom of California. Political heir of the Empire of Mexico, the dynasty is Von Habsburg. I added green to remind of Mexico, the Pearl is for San Francisco, the Crown for the Country and the Cross for LA.
The beautiful flag of my state has been transformed into a monarchist cupcake.

Thought I'd post my (incredibly crude) flag for Socialist Bengal here. Made in Paint
The blue and white waves represent the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal. The white flower rising out of the waves is supposed to be a water lily, the national flower of Bengal. The saffron disk of the sun represents Bengal's history and the red sky is for socialism.
