Here's another Democratic landslide county map. who can guess who the candidates are, what year it takes place in, and what the state map looks like?
1. Guessing the Democratic candidate is from Arkansas, given that they won every county in the state (not even native son Bill Clinton could do that)
2. Is Danforth's running mate from Utah? That's one of the only states on this map I can conceivably see going red
3. The high number of counties being won with pluralities suggests a strong third-party presence (probably >5% of voters voting third-party)
4. Guessing this election takes place between the 1980s and the late 2000s, given that most of the Deep South is red but the border states/Appalachia aren't. Of course, that's presuming that the political geography of TTL follows a similar course to OTL.
5. The fact that Broomfield is independent in CO suggests that this is 2004 or later, given that it became independent in 2001, but it's quite possible that's unintentional and is just an error.
