This is based off political clubs (aka, threads people start to discuss things with similarly-minded people).
Probably either on the right of the Conservatives or on the pro-capitalism side of the Reactionaries.
It was done to show the strongest areas of support. Dark Red/Blue was a strong win. Light Blue/Red was a close win.

Actually, there was an issue with my "Gorbachev down one percentage point wikibox", and even though I made it to make fun of this thread, it's bugging me.
