The MP-43/STG 44 was a desperation weapon. Here, they're winning the war.

OTL, the victorious powers stuck with what they had because it clearly was working, it'd be the same here.

That self-loader really does have a nice "EVIL BRITISH NAZIS!" element to it's appearance! (Also, excellent work as ever, my dear Marlowski).

Here is my interpretation of the modern carriers of TL-191 German Empire. Kaiserliche Marine in TTL 2022 is the 3rd largest navy in the world, after the United States Navy and the Imperial Japanese Navy. It is currently focused on supporting ground forces on the Intervention in the East African Crisis and protecting its interests in the Pacific Ocean.

Thank you

Here's a thought - if the United States of America had been able to whip up a Canadian puppet state (ahem, an Anglo-Canadian puppet state) instead of letting the Great White North run red with blood between the Wars, what might it's armed forces have looked like? (Would they have employed British military surplus or been obliged to depend on US sources?).

For that matter, how might equipment of the Canadian Army in the First Great War have differed from that deployed by the Canadian Expeditionary Force of our own history? (One suspects there would have been a powerful lot of scavenging US kit to help pad out the somewhat slender resources of native industry).

IJN Carriers as of 2022

The Imperial Japanese Navy is the 2nd Largest Navy in the world. It is currently in a massive build-up after a decade of negligence. It is currently supporting rebels in Burmese Civil War in form of air support

I presume that the Japanese carried over the names of Akagi, Kaga, and maybe Amagi to the post-SGW carriers.

Russian Republic Aircraft Carriers as of 2022

Republic of Russia
was formed after the People's Revolution of 1953, which brought the Russian Empire into collapse. The government sought closer relations with the USA and became the founding member of Pan-Oceanic Treaty Organization (POTO). Currently, the Russian Republic Navy is tasked with protecting Russia's important ports and its entire coastline. Also, it is planning to expand its naval capabilities in response to recent IJN expansion and to fulfill its duty in POTO.

So Russia is switching from conventional carriers to short take off abd conventional landing carriers with the new class?
