The 2019 German federal election was held on Sunday 22 September 2019 to elect all 500 members of the Reichstag. The incumbent People's Union government, headed by German People's Party leader Peter Altmaier, was defeated. The Progressives secured a strong plurality, winning 211 seats with 41% of the vote, while all three other major coalitions lost seats.
The Progressives made significant gains in the west and east, where the Prussian Progressive Coalition took a significant number of seats from both the People's Union and National Alliance. However, the Pogressives failed to break the People's Union's hold on the conservative south; in Austria, the ÖCVP gained seats at the expense of the left, while the centre made the largest gains in Bavaria.

Joe Biden as part of the Labor Party? Because of that American politicians are a bit more left-wing ITTL than their OTL equivalents I presume?Prime Ministers of the Commonwealth of America
Oh no, gosh no. You've made a dystopia a reality: the Velvet Hammer in charge of a whole nation.Prime Ministers of the Commonwealth of America

Yeah they are somewhat more left-wing though Biden is still definitely from the more moderate wing of the party.Joe Biden as part of the Labor Party? Because of that American politicians are a bit more left-wing ITTL than their OTL equivalents I presume?
Edit: Also could you make the infoboxes for the American parties if you feel up to it?
Prime Ministers of the Commonwealth of America
The Rhineland War was a large uprising of both Socialist and Fascist insurgencies in 1940-41 that led to the North German government completely losing control over the area. It raged for several months and occasionally spilled out into neighboring countries until a coalition of French, British, Dutch, and American troops entered and seized control over the area. The North German government fell a few months later in the Berlin Riots and led to the 1941-46 North German Civil War. The Rhineland War is considered when America became a world power in its own right. What was the Rhineland War about? Did it involve a Nazi or Nazi-type Germany? Also, what was the Cologne Conference in 1990?

North Germany was set up after The Great War as a republic. The Civil War was fought between Socialist and right-wing forces with General Gerd von Rundstedt winning and seizing control as a dictator. Rundstedt would also reestablish the monarchy in the North in 1949 which still exists to today. The Rhineland War also led to the establishment of the Rhineland Autonomous Republic, which while is technically still part of North Germany is mostly independent and even has a seat in the League of Nations. What government existed in North Germany? What came after the collapse and civil war? Which factions fought this civil war?
Also, what did South Germany (or Austria, or the states in Southern Germany or whatever) do? Did it remain stable?

South Germany, which while originally didn’t came to include Austria, was dealing with insurgencies but was able (largely through aid from the West) to keep itself afloat for the most part and didn’t fall apart.
Von Rundstedt dies in 53 and North Germany is ruled by a junta until 82 when it democratized. The West supported the North German Republic (like South Germany) but by the time of the Rhineland War it was pretty much a failed state and it was clear it couldn’t support itself for very much longer. They nominally supported von Rundstedt when it became clear he was going to win the Civil War.Does the dictatorship (a military dictatorship I guess, if von Rundstedt established it?) still exist, too?
Why was North Germany opposed by the West - because it was socialist or communist?
Also interesting. Is South Germany democratic? What does it include?
South Germany is a democracy including Bavaria, Baden-Wurttenburg, and Austria after 1951.

I really like how thoroughly you've built up the world surrounding your story. Do you think we'll ever see a world map?
Well, looking it up, Prince George has a picture on wiki, but his younger siblings do not, so I suppose it's logical that their pictures weren't released. The beginning of what will be a very long project, a list of English/British monarchs from The Sun Never Set. I decided to start simple with the monarchs of the 20th and 21st centuries. The portraits for Richard VI and Henrietta are blank because frankly I don't know what to do with them.
