Currently the TL only really consists of infoboxes and a world map, but I am considering starting a separate thread in the Maps and Graphics forum where I could post news articles and other world building image-based items.
Please do. I forgot to ask this last night, but what is the north? And why do they want independence? And why does Eric Greitens lead the party? Also, what's going on in Cascadia?

The north is much more culturally similar to the eastern American states (close to OTL’s US) and its residents tend to speak more English the more north you go. Northern Independence is really a fringe party that plays on a fear of “cultural extinction” among English-speaking whites, and some of its leaders have even suggested unifying the area with Canada (which borders Louisiana to the north) or Dana (to the west). They’re essentially the English Speakers’ party with a more separatist angle. I was looking for a more unconventional Missouri Republican for the leader, and I felt like Greitens fit.

Cascadia is controlled by Oregon, which was administered by the British until the mid 19th century, when it became a dominion separate from Canada. Oregon has a government similar to that of Canada, with a prime minister and a constitutional monarch, Elizabeth II.

Uh... maybe, but are the President and Vice-President required to belong to the same political party?

Nope! That's just generally how it works out, since there isn't a pressing need to have the opposition as your number two. In addition to Abraham Lincoln, Williams Jennings Bryan also ran with a Populist running mate in some states in 1896, although in that case he was also technically the nominee of both parties.

If the Electoral College is deadlocked and the House and Senate are controlled by different parties, you could have the House elect a President from one party and the Senate elect a Vice President from the other party.

Andrea Orlando (born 9 February 1969) is a North Italian politician serving as the 36th and current Prime Minister of the Northern Italian Republic since 24 October 2016. He previously served as Minister of the Interior (2014-2016) and Minister of Regional Affairs (2011-2014) during the Gori government. Orlando previously served as Prefect of Oltregiogo between 2004 and 2008 and as city councillor of La Spezia between 1995 and 2001. He briefly served as interim Secretary of the Socialist Party after the resignation of Piero Fassino and until the 2016 Congress, which elected Daniele Viotti as the new Secretary.

Orlando has been described as the first representative of the social democratic wing of the PODS to become Prime Minister since Claudio Martelli (1994-1997), after the more liberal cabinets of Giuliano Amato, Romano Prodi and Giorgio Gori. Orlando has been credied with being the first of a new generation of socialist leaders to reach the premiership. During his premiership, Orlando's government legalised same sex marriage and adoption rights, reformed the public administration and reformed the tax code, introducing a soda tax.

Daniele Viotti (born 8 March 1974) is a North Italian politician currently serving as the Secretary of the Worker's Democratic Socialist Party. He is also a member of parliament for the Alessandria district. Viotti had previously served as Minister of Justice (2014-2017) under Prime Ministers Giovanni Gori and Andrea Orlando and before that as mayor of Alessandria between 2010 and 2014.

Viotti is a noted LGBT rights' advocate, having chaired the Civil Liberties committee in the 2006-2011 legislature when same sex marriage legislation passed in parliament. During his time as Justice Minister, Viotti presided over the reform of the Penal and Civil Codes to equal the rights of heterosexual and homosexual couples regarding adoption proceedings and to expand the hate speech laws to include transphobic comments. Viotti is usually placed on the left-wing of the PODS, close to the current Prime Minister, Andrea Orlando, as has been identified as a member of the 'Young Turk' faction of the party, which played a key role in forcing Romano Prodi's resignation.

The fact you used a French Wikipedia style of infobox for Miliband makes it all the better. I suppose he's one of those 'foreign' politicians who would be consigned to the red-link-lack-of-a-page in W3L English Wikipedia? :p

Great work with these as always.

I imagine the party colors could be flipped. But the 1972 infobox needs the candidate positions flipped and a better image for Eastwood, like this.
