AHC: Five/Six-Way Cold War

With a POD set at 11 November 1918, create a five- or six-way Cold War featuring the United States of America, the British Empire, the Third Reich, the Soviet Union, and either the Empire of Japan or the Republic/People's Republic (preferably the latter) of China, or both of the two latter options. Maps would be a preferable method of displaying your scenarios.

...That's not a Cold War, that's just Great Power politics. This would just be continuation of the OTL 1930s, so the POD would be no WW2, which is tricky with the Third Reich and Imperial Japan in play but probably possible (Imperial Japan's invasion of China proper was extremely ad hoc and could easily be butterflied; the Nazis are more difficult to deter from a war; you'd need Hitler dead and someone more cautious in power).

Hitler has some sort of incident (assassination attempt, accident, whatever) in about April 1941 while the Balkan campaign is in full swing. In the ensuing power struggle Barbarossa is delayed enough that it is abandoned in 1941, but the Germans and British are stilling fighting in the air, in the Atlantic and Africa which is ongoing in December when Japan attacks the US. The war in Europe peters out with Germany holding OTL May 1941 territory while the US flogs Japan.

There you have it.

Only problem is that’s, well, a boiling-hot war, not a cold one.
