The Empire Parnell Built

What is trickle down diplomacy?
In my understanding, as original trickle down- they believe the ,,peace,, they made by dissarming and having a neutral foreign position will ,,trickle down,, to the world . Sounds even worse than the original trickle down, tbh

OTL Karl Radek considered himself a Pole, not a Jew, so he was not a Zionist, and did not want to go to Palestine.
TTL he is disillusioned by the failure of socialist/communist revolutions in Russia and Eastern Europe so he moved to Palestine in an attempt to start a cross-community communist party.

Basically what @Phradmon says. In the specifically American exceptionalist context it involves the idea that the US will be this shining example to the rest of the world...

I'm curious as to why Pelley formed the silver shirts TTL given the only reason he did so OTL was because he was inspired by Hitler and the Nazis rise to power. Without them he'd likely stay with the college he founded instead of fully getting into politics like he did OTL.

How much power does the Kaiser have here? I'd imagine the imperial family as a whole is quite influential but to what extent is the Kronprinz taking marching orders from Wilhelm II?

An interesting question. I suspect that by this point the whole military establishment (or at least most of it) has kind of been captured by the logic that you have to keep striking at Russia to keep her off-balance etc. and both the Kaiser and Crown Prince buy into that logic too. So in the end, perhaps it's not all that important who is literally manipulating who - although I'd imagine that both of them like to think they're the one doing all the manipulating...

Is the British Empire's protectionism at this time essentially a more modern version of Edwardian imperial preference?

More or less. It's basically a slightly more comprehensive version of the tariff regime imposed from the 30s onwards OTL. But, because of the greater legislative independence TTL, the different constituents of the Empire are more free to develop their economies within that framework.

I'm really, really surprised the US didn't get involved when the British invaded Brazil. The Monroe doctrine was considered sacred among just about every group in the US at the time and with TR having won in 1912 that's going to be reinforced even harder.(if that's even possible TBH) The only way I could've seen that happening is if the US and British were allied in the war and the US was dealing with an actual invasion of the US mainland.
