heh sameI religiously followed these too when I was younger.
In all honestly they probably sparked my interest in international politics.

This really explains itIt's kinda like The Room of map-making: badly made, yet says something about how younger people view international relationships
Errrr like?To be fair, there are a lot of mapping videos and some of them are actually pretty good. To say they're all badly made is an over-exaggeration.

In that third video, about 40 seconds in... Is that an Afro-Sikh Empire in Angola? Also, at about 1:30, it looks like South Carolina is conquering Europe.
These make so little sense and it just keeps getting weirder and weirder the further into the future it goes.
I wont lie, I kind fo like how bad it is, its amusing.
They're called nationiums by mapperdoniansCommon themes I seem to find:
- Resurgent Communism in a Sino-Russian Union
- Ludicrous Continental Unification/Space-Filling Unions (with flags that are shaped like the continent)
Bonus points if it involves a shattered USA, or an expansionist USA that either conquers Canada or EuropeCommon themes I seem to find:

And every last single one of them have countries that “talk”, like normal people. Rather like polandball.Bonus points if it involves a shattered USA, or an expansionist USA that either conquers Canada or Europe
I remember religiously following Danial Mapper, Ion Mapper and a bunch of others back in circa 2014.And every last single one of them have countries that “talk”, like normal people. Rather like polandball.

Also Official Nations, which are chunks of land with some arbitrary nonsensical name that always end up conquering the world. And every last single one of them have countries that “talk”, like normal people. Rather like polandball.
I know right? Those are all so weird. HehehAnd every last single one of them have countries that “talk”, like normal people. Rather like polandball.
A lot of them are okay, but there are a lot of mapping videos that are poorly made and have too many cliches (e.g. Russia and/or Germany invading countries because empire)I know right? Those are all so weird. Heheh

I always find that among the most interesting part, just because of how it portrays the understanding of international relationships, especially when it's a young person doing it.And every last single one of them have countries that “talk”, like normal people. Rather like polandball.

"Yo Canada? Me, Mr. America--"agreed. but now i know that diplomats don’t just say “wassup dude” to each other.
