Some of these pictures look very modern. I know that in many aspects, the early 20th century was just different from the later 20th century in there being no advanced electronics (especially in Europe), but some of your pictures posted, for example "The Tankmen", "Acrobat", and "The Party Organizer" look very 1980s.

It is also interesting to observe the various women at work in the pictures. Although the 20th century Eastern European perspective on gender equality was different (and in many ways inferior) to the current Social Justice concept, I think it was a progressive idea to let women take up many kinds of job offers and develop independence.

It is also interesting to observe the various women at work in the pictures. It's nice to hear that usually Soviet painting is accused of being archaic. Actually, a working woman is one of the most popular stories, if you want I can add here 1-3 parts of paintings with a similar plot. As for gender equality, then ... it seems to me that we all need to learn from the GDR, and then there were difficulties. But this is not a political topic.
