This is actually from I’m your Pusher from The Boys Presents: Diabolical. The animation in is an homage to the original comics, and is set in the comics continuity.

Karl Dönitz, Grand Admiral of the German Navy, photographed in 1947. Just two months after becoming Supreme Commander of the Kriegsmarine, Dönitz was severely wounded after the believed suicide bombing of Adolf Hitler by Colonel Rudolf-Christoph von Gersdorff. The same explosion that killed Hitler also killed Luftwaffe commander Hermann Göring, Wehrmacht commander Wilhelm Keitel, and SS-Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler.

In a stroke of morbidly comedic luck, Dönitz happened to be standing slightly behind Göring when the bomb detonated, and due to the air force commander's size, his body protected Dönitz from much of the explosion. However, Dönitz was still wounded, losing his left eye to shrapnel, as well as severe facial scars from said shrapnel and burns. Reichspresident Franz Halder, who was aware of Gersdorff's plan, would later reward Dönitz by appointing him as his Minister of War in 1944.

Marvel announced Fury Vol. 3 in 2017 with Tom King and Mitch Geralds to write its first run. It was created to "accompany" the publisher's All-New, All Different initiative while still unrelated to the project. The series follows a grounded alternate reality's Nicolas Fury during the early eighties as he unravels the truth about his grandfather. It was praised for its stale beer approach to the titular character's spy career, and how it presented concepts of trauma and morality.​
