Dune (1972)
You have to tell me what characters the actors are playing in the 1972 Dune. I'm guessing Joss Ackland is playing the Baron Harkonnen, Stanley Baker is Duke Leto Atreides, And Franco Nero is Duncan Idaho. Nidel Hawthorne is clearly Thufir Hawat. But what about the others?

During our tour of Earth 390-Sigma, the locals showed us some of their parallel’s sports. Without the development of gunpowder Knights never went out of style, though their choice of mount has certainly evolved. They also tell us the armor is made of more advanced metals, but we’ll need the Science Team to verify that. I know we’re not supposed to comment on politics in these things, but I can’t help but wonder what our weapons manufacturers are gonna do when they hear about this place. Sure the Multiverseal Treaty forbids arms sales to other timelines but when has that ever stopped them?

Photo of the first show in the Star Trek 54 year old and still on going franchise based off the movie of the same name “Star Trek: The Show“ would run for six season. The show would be highly controversial due to it use of (at the time.) present day along with adult theme which set it apart from most shows at the time.

Captain James T Kirk the Captain during the first series. Often called one of the greatest Captains in the franchise and would win a emmy for his performance in the season 3 episode 30 “Break Down” in which he has a mental breakdown after build up for three season. Former Governor of Louisiana, ex close associate and arch enemy of Pelley, Huey Long. He was appointed Vice President by Pelley because of his very successful "Share Our Wealth" movement. However, since the victory in the Civil War, Pelley and Long's relationship has deteriorated severely that the Kingfish chose to resign as VP in 1940. He is now the leader of the America First Union Party, and is the main contender to the Christian Party.

The first three VHS releases of the obscure 1960s television series Doctor Who. The show ran from 1963 to 1966, having been cancelled suddenly in the beginning of its fourth season due to low ratings. Most episodes were wiped in the following years, causing most serials to be unable to be released without lengthy reconstruction and animation efforts.

These 3 VHS tapes, released by BBC Video in August of 1995 and February of 1996 respectively, helped launch the SciFi drama into the public eye again, to the surprise of many. The show now has a cult following among British audiences, and there are now rumors of reviving the series, with actor Peter Purves, who played companion Steven Taylor in the original series, now playing The Doctor.

(I have a few infoboxes about the subject on the Infobox thread as well, if you'd like to check them out)

Floyd Olson, known more popularly as "Neutral Floyd", during a speech in Minnesota. He is considered by many politicians as a compromise candidate, although he publicly denies this. What is interesting about Floyd is his neutrality when it comes to allegiance. He criticizes all of the other parties for specific reasons, especially the GOP and DP (a "failed democracy", according to him.) and the Silver Legion (for warmongering.). He leads the Minnesota Farmer-Labor Party.

images (9).jpeg

Huey Long publicly criticizes William Dudley Pelley for his actions during the war, condemning his brutality and merciless slaughters against Soviet civilians. This speech became known as the "Pudley Controversy" and it led to William having widespread controversial status. This also gave a boost to the growing popularity and voters base of the America First Union Party, and would ultimately lead to them being one of the most supported parties in the 1944 Election. He would be known all over as "The Kingfish."

images (10).jpeg

Alf Landon, a GOP leaning politician and long time rival of Pelley since he won the Civil War. Landon would receive nationwide and even international attention due to his radio talk show, the "Republican's Voice". His talk show, along with his frequent speeches condemning the Silver Legion's authoritarian rule and the war crimes they had committed would catapult him to mainstream media. He was elected as the Republican nominee for the 1944 Election.

Hiram Johnson, Senator from California and the nominee of the Progressive Party in the 1944 Presidential Elections. He is known throughout America as Theodore Roosevelt's running mate in the 1912 election, also under the ballot of the Progressives. Despite having leftist views, he often criticizes the Socialist Party of America due to it having a "corrupt management" and "wrong way of representing the Socialist front." He also often condemned Pelley for being a warmongering brute.

Thomas Dewey, New York's 47th Governor and one of the main candidates in the Republican Primaries. By the end of the GOP's National Convention, he lost by 2 votes to Alf Landon, which was one of the most embarrassing and devastating losses in the Primaries ever in the 20th Century. Despite the loss in the Convention, Dewey would continue to serve as New York's Governor until 1954.

Henry-A.-Wallace-Townsend.jpeg.jpeg

Henry Wallace, one of the Progressive Party's prominent members and Hiram Johnson's main rival in the Progressive Party's National Convention. Henry Wallace was expected to actually win by some voters than Johnson. But, to the surprise of his supporters, Johnson won the Primaries by a landslide victory against Wallace. Henry had a reputation of being one of the most liberal idealists during the reign of the Silver Legion and Pelley, and was hated by the Silver Shirts in general. Despite losing, Henry Wallace continued to be the United States' Secretary of Commerce until 1946.

Charles_Coughlin.jpg

Charles Coughlin, a Canadian American Catholic priest and a notorious associate of William Dudley Pelley. Coughlin acted as the eyes and ears of the Silver Legion inside the America First Union Party, which was the main party challenging the Christian Party, the Silver Legion's political wing and incumbent leading party. He was expected to win and run against Pelley. If Pelley loses to him, Charles would appoint him to a high position, and solidify Silver Legion legacy within the Government. He failed to get voted in after the overwhelming vote for Huey Long.

800px-TRUMAN_58-766-06_(cropped).jpg

Harry Truman, Missouri's Senator to the Government and the Democratic Party's Nominee for the 1944 Presidential Elections. Truman was one of the most popular candidates in the Election and in the National Convention itself. He plans to make peace with the Soviets when he wins (in actuality, Long and Johnson were also considering this as well.) and help rebuild the Soviet Far East and Europe by his so called "Marshall Plan". He was nicknamed as "Democrat Long" or "Huey Long's lost brother". He won an overwhelming majority vote in the National Convention of the Democrats.
