I think he's referencing the fact that during the Devonian there was little land. Although could he have said Precambrian and have been even more apt.
Uber venice that survived Austria and Napoleon. Sahara is lush farmland instead of a desert.
The election map is set in the TL of the map I posted a few pages ago, but several hundred years in the future. More rivers and an oversized Lake Chad move more water through the area caused the "green period" that happened in IOTL long ago never ended.That calls for some explanation....
There are definetly a lot of canals. Should I make a map showing the various canals and rivers?Venice's motto - "We must build a canal".

Breen, a nation that I made, it has a similar look to the state of New Jersey. The nation is bordered by 4 other nations, Midgaurd to it's the westerly border, Horislandia to its south, Pikland to its east, and Lilyboton to its north, where the border is straight
Please note that if you think about it, Switzerland is landlocked, and Breen is landlocked. And they are both republics, and they have both stayed out of any wars.

Well both map look interesting. Do they countries they depict have a history to match?
Horislandia, a nation that Changed its name 5 times in 1 year makes a come back as a favorite contender of being the country with most horses in it.
Uhm, no the countries themselves are not in the same world, but in some cases, these nations have lots of history I need to develop.
And, the real world nation is just so you guys know how large the country is if it was real.
I think I'm going to make a couple more maps in the A.S.B style.....because their fun and simple.
Nice, some party names sound weird in Italian. Can I suggest more accurate translations?
