So any comments to my WIP?
I've spent a few minutes trying unsuccessfully to find a gif of a cartoon wolf hitting himself in the head wih a mallet to express my strong and positive feelings, if that answers your question.

From the presence of Wellesley, I'm wagering this is a "Britain takes the River Plate colony during the Napoleonic Wars" POD?

Should it not be Malvinas?

Was a war fought with Chile over Patagonia or just a different but still peacefully devision?

Paraguay situation?

Well i usually don’t like when people Post wip map outside of the wip thread, but this is really a good start, I like the (few) colours, and Mesopotamia for entre Rio is fun.

Did you use GIS data for the coastline?
These Chilean islands are seriously impressive

Good luck

Bundeskanzler Angela Merkel sat at her desk in the Chancellery. On her computer screen was President Obama, with the two in the middle of an intense discussion relating to Russia's recent annexation of Crimea. In the corner stood Karl Schulz, an aide to the Chancellor.
Imagine, he thought. A hundred years ago in 1914, Europe was on the brink of war. Now, are we there again? The last century might have been the worst in human history. If only we could do it over again.
And at that moment, Obama disappeared from the screen.
Reports quickly began coming in from all corners of the Federal Republic as to the magnitude of the event that had just happened. That afternoon, Karl, utterly flummoxed, stood before Merkel, with the oddest message of his lifetime.
"Chancellor ... We appear to seem gone back in time."

My first ASB scenario!

Blatantly stolen from inspired by this thread, this scenario sees an almost-modern Germany sent back to 26 June 1914, exactly 100 years into the past - two days before the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. Germany has been presented with a chance to undo its mistakes, and they intend to take it.

The world, 15 years later.

Some notes:
  1. The Kingdom of Germany adopted Georg Friedrich as a constitutional monarch to appease the Old Prussians. The Länder of Silesia and Posen have additional autonomy to the other states, accounting for their significant Polish minority. Alsace-Lorraine is French once more, easing tensions a little between France and Germany.
  2. The Empire of Leithania is back from the brink and far stronger than it was a decade ago. A model of federalism and multiculturalism in Europe (even if the Kaiser is unwilling), its renewed alliance with Germany means it is far from being the sick man of Europe. As for the other sick man...
  3. The Ottoman Empire is but a memory; the Middle East is now shared between a Turkish Republic, a Kurdish state, a Syrian Republic (with a significant population of refugees returning there from Germany), a British Palestine and an independent Hejaz. The latter is allied with Britain, speaking of whom...
  4. Ireland and Scotland have both achieved Home Rule. Wales is moving towards Home Rule too, and the idea of an Imperial Federation is brought up more and more frequently.
  5. Germany’s colonies are still an issue of intense debate. At the moment they’re divided into five self-governing territories (Togoland, Kamurun, Tanganyika, Namibia, and Pacifica), with an intensive investment and development program to eventually prepare them for independence.
  6. Tsar Alexei rules Russia after his father's assassination, with assistance from his uncle, Grand Duke Michael. Under their reign, Russia has developed rapidly and is now on par with France or Leithania in terms of its development. The country is also slowly democratising, enough to slow the tide of revolution, although for how long is unclear.
  7. Germany tried to break down Japan's power to stop a Pacific War in its tracks, sponsoring uprisings in Korea and Formosa. They kind of succeeded; those regions are no longer Japanese; instead, they are part of a militarist and expansionist China, now worrying the nations of Europe more than anything else.
Comments would be greatly appreciated. I must not be the only person wanting to catch a Deutsche Bahn ICE to Königsberg... right? Right?

I don't know about this part, especially the annexation of Korea. I don't think a 1930s China has the power projection needed to annex Korea, not when Super!Germany and a whole bunch of western powers will no doubt object to it.

Other than that, why did Nicky get assassinated, and by who? Are the Bolsheviks getting purged by the Okhrana?

I really, really like this. Though I can't imagine the average German is quite amused with how the average European empire treats their African subjects...the news from the Belgian Congo must be distressing, and many a downtimer African might want to spread the message of African independence by asking German media (social and traditional) to spread the word. If Germany has it in her to truly fix the world, I could imagine the privilege of acquiring Germany's technology would be to open their markets to German industry, and to slowly dismantle the colonial empires. Something similar to the Four Communes of Senegal might be palatable to most European empires as a first step.

I didn't realize that Venice was under the control of the Byzantine Empire by 810. Thank you for continuing to upload your beautiful and detailed maps of OTL here, they're very educational in addition to being fun to look at.
I'd be wary about declaring them educational since there are issues about the accuracy of previous maps.
But they are beautiful.

Thanks, i'm glad that they're liked. I'll upload the last one for the Europe series soon, there are 2 left that i haven't uploaded so far and 2 that i reworked, the first ones (1000 and 1212 AD). Then i'll try to link also the animation/video in here and then this series is finished - for now.

Anyone who pays attention to the IM subreddit will already have seen this map, but I didn't get around to posting it here (despite Kutku's nagging) until now. It's more The Great Liberator, or that one Bolivaria TL, this time focusing on post-post war Eastern Europe and the Union of the European Community.

Believe it or not, I used a National Geographic map of the Southern Cone for the basemap

Now you have me interested in what the Middle East, Russia and Western Europe look like

How to heck Turkey manage to annex northern Cyprus TTL when they couldn't hold those mainland territories from Greece? That seems like a serious mis-prioritisation
