I don't think there are enough TL 191 maps out there. I know that the series is ASB, but it is really cool nontheless. So here is a map of the TL 191 Universe in 1958. The Socialists gained Congress in 1954, and follwing the grisly accurate book The Forgotten Nation, focusing on US occupied Canada, made all of the Canadian provinces US territories. In Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, BC, Yukon, and the Northwest Territory the reaction is "*sigh* Oh well". In the rest of Canada, a revolt starts, which is quickly put down by US troops. Texas is also made a US territory, with the same reaction as BC. In 1948, the Mexican rebellion in the Pacific Confederate Territories killed most white southerners in the Area, making them among the most friendly of former CSA territories. Utah, Tennessee, and Kentuky are all states in the Union under military occupation, if not martial law. Colonial Empires are beginning to fall apart in Africa and Asia. Britain "transfers" most of its contiguous African colonies to apartheid South Africa. Austria is doing somewhat better, turning into Austria-Hungary-Czechia, and somewhat stabilizing the Empire. The US and Germany are allied against Russia and Japan in a Cold War, although not as intense as OTL. If i've forgotten to mention anything, let me know.

If you're talking about that awful Middle East map, aye. At least in Europe they sometimes held plebiscites, which clearly couldn't possibly have happened anywhere on that map.
1. You mention a USSR, but it still looks like Russia on the map.
2. How have the Japanese not collapsed/given up yet on China? I know TL-191 wanks the Japanese to blindness, but I'd think by 1958 they'd have either won, lost or at least stabilized the situation.

Wasn't part of the problem that they didn't shift the minorities around? I haven't heard many complaints from the Sudetenlanders lately.

They named Hokkaido and North Honshu "Ainu" and Kyushu and Shokoku are called "Okinawa"?

Thats because after the war they lobbed all the Sudetenlanders back across the border. Basically they said, "If you're so desperate to be German, go live there."
Besides having a hard-on for Kurdistan, I’ll note the author is too much of a weak sister to give us a definite answer on what happens to the West Bank, that Free Baluchistan should be in the running for Crapsack Nation of the Year (what do they have aside from sand and sheep?), as if Lebanon didn’t have enough religious and ethnic disputes already, and I have trouble seeing how making Shi’a Iraq the largest oil producer in the world is supposed to go well.

Plus the West Bank. It's like the creator went ahead and redrew all the borders without respect to ethnic or cultural considerations, but stopped when it came to the West Bank because that might offend some people (still Gaza I noticed is now fully part of Israel. That has unfortunate implications.)
Plus what's up with city-state Baghdad? It wouldn't last a week.

I was thinking more along the lines that the first three apparently lost land, certainly not noticeably, while they also think there are enough of the Saudi family to populate that barren wasteland. Plus Armenia has lost land.
