Hmm what's this...

As a sneak peak for my latest project in the background lore of the UoB, take a look at the London Provincial Council elections from the UoB's foundation up to the present day. Keep a lookout at the wiki because there'll be infoboxes and accompanying lore like this for each of the 12 Federal Regions of the Union. Hope you find them interesting!

Why does labor gain seats each time?
That's usually the opposite of what happens when a party stays in power for a long time

An absolutely insignificant point, but I was just thinking the other day that in KRTL, there's a pretty good chance that we'd see a much smaller Newfoundland. The above map shows Canadian land claims in Labrador before 1927. Due to very vague language in the original land grant of the Labrador Coast to Newfoundland in the early 19th century, the Canadian government claimed that Newfoundland's jurisdiction only applied to the literal coastline: one mile inland that is. Everything else was part of the Province of Quebec. This was eventually resolved by an Imperial Council in 1927 which granted the entire watershed to Newfoundland and gave us that wonderfully jagged border we all love today. I'm thinking that in KRTL, we already know that the monarchy in exile has political issues with the Dominion of Canada and would probably be seeking for little ways to ingratiate itself during its stay. One of them might very well be political pressure to find for Canadian land claims against Newfoundland in the 1920s. This would yield the borders depicted above.

My headcanon is an AUS victory in the 2ACW, followed by them joining the Entente right as Savinkovist Russia and the syndies partition china. There is then a Savinkov vs Entente cold war. South America becomes all that's left of Socialism as the KMT and India become more moderate.

Hi there, sorry for the long response but the long and short of it comes primarily down to London being a special place. In real life, the ruling party tended to do fairly well regardless and Labour unseated Municipal Reform to become the largest and dominant party. Something it was fairly consistent in and proceeded to do for a long time. In KR an additional factor is that it's a reflection of Labour becoming the dominant party in British politics, though in the other Federal Regions its a lot different.

I thought it already did? Like twice.
It did once, but to be honest the current content for all factions feels very dated. CSA factions are still locked into the reductive "Syndie-RadSoc-Totalist" trinary, the USA is underdeveloped, and the AUS in particular is a bit nonsensical and lacks a lot of content. All three, in addition, are crying out for post-ACW content; I'd be happy to keep the current lore and gameplay if we could just get more in-depth stories after the end of the Civil War.

The most important question in my opinion is, when will we get to play this? The UoB rework is genuinely something I've been super hyped about for a long time now. It feels like we might never get to play it. I hope this Q&A means that it's coming soon.
Someone in the comments asked if it's coming soon and they said no, but "its trundling along"

Me wondering when a USA rework will happen:

The US content isn't as good as the China content but compared to Germany or Russia it's very fresh and high quality.

It indeed is, though issues in mine and Zim's personal lives have delayed our development, but regardless UoB won't release until the French rework is done alongside it.
