Espanha: a Castillan-Portuguese timeline

Chapter 1
On December of 1461, Charles, Prince of Viana would recover from a bout of poisoning and would marry Madeleine of France, his former betrothed Catherine of Portugal would be forced to go to a nunnery due to this and the King of Aragon would be a puppet of the French when he rose to the crown in 1475, the marriage would produce two offspring, namely John, Prince of Viana of Viana b. May 2, 1463 and Isabella of Aragon and Navarre b. 1468, Isabella of Aragon and Navarre would be affianced to the dauphin Charles at his own birth on 1470.

On May 2, 1464, Isabella of Bourbon would die giving birth to another daughter named Isabella and Charles of Burgundy would be forced to have another marriage with Margaret of York, but Marie of Foix herself would die of childbirth, however, the possibility of marriage between Mary of Burgundy and Ferdinand of Aragon would be terminated as she would be betrothed and eventually married to Charles, Duke of Berry and her younger sister, Isabella of Burgundy to Archduke Maximilian but this was just the beginning as Ferdinand of Aragon would be sidelined for an ecclesiastical career on 1469, the betrothal between Berry and Mary of Burgundy would lead to him losing Normandy and Aquitaine.

On 1462, Joanna of Portugal would be discovered to have an affair and expelled from court forcing Henry IV of Castile to consider his younger siblings Alfonso and Isabella as his heirs and Isabella would be betrothed to John, Prince of Portugal, however during 1464, Alfonso of Castile himself would die and Isabella is betrothed to John, Prince of Portugal.

Chapter 2
On 1469, the 17-year-old Isabella of Castile would marry the fourteen-year-old Prince Alfonso of Portugal, the marriage seemed perfect for the two kingdoms, however, Aragon would go under the French orbit with the heir of Aragon and the King of Naples as puppets on a string by the spider king and Louis XI would advise Juan II of Aragon to sideline Ferdinand for a clerical position.

Isabella of Castile would object to her new surroundings but she would be able to adapt of the marriage easily and she would have the following children; Isabella(October 2, 1470), Afonso(May 10, 1475), Joao(June 30, 1478), Joanna(November 6, 1479), Maria(June 29, 1482) and Catherine(December 16, 1485).

The marriage would be the first step on the reunification of the two Iberians kingdoms who have an interest in navigation and exploration to the west and their issues in Guinea and Canarias would have been resolved after Isabella I of Castile would be a queen regnant of Castile on 1475.
 
Chapter 3
On the Spring of 1470, Marie of Burgundy would marry the brother of the French King, Charles the Duke of Berry as he was able to procure a dispensation, Marie would give birth to two daughters named Marguerite May 10, 1474 and Isabelle June 2, 1476 until the death of her first husband, she would find herself a Widow and a heiress at the same time on 1476 On February 4, 1476 as her husband would die.

On the death of her father on the Battle of Nancy, Many of the Grooms would vie for her hand and she would have her sister, Isabella marry Archduke Maximilian, she would choose the young Philibert of Savoy as her second husband and waiting out for the consummation of their marriage, the two would be married on December of 1477 as she had the dispensation and betrothal ready after the death of her own father.

The lands belonging to the Duchy of Burgundy as constituted by Louis's great-great-grandfather John II for the benefit of his son Philip the Bold were taken by Louis XI but Mary of Burgundy and her new husband would contest those.

Chapter 4
On 1475, Henry IV of Castile, the brother of Isabella of Castile, the wife of John of Portugal would die, the two would start reigning on Castile and decided that Castile and Portugal would have a union after Afonso V of Portugal and the capital of the union of Castile and Portugal would be Lisbon and the two would be happy.

Isabella of Castile and her husband, John with her two children, Isabella and Afonso would settle in the palace of her brother, uniting the two crowns of Portugal and Castile on the death of her father in law, Afonso V.

She would initiate the pogrom of the Jews on Castile with the support of her husband.
 
Chapter 5
Anne was originally betrothed to Nicholas, Duke of Lorraine and was created Viscountess of Thouars in 1468 in anticipation of the marriage. However, Nicholas broke the engagement to pursue Mary, Duchess of Burgundy, and then died unexpectedly in 1473, prompting Louis to take back the fiefdom. That same year, on November 3, Anne is betrothed to John Prince of Viana and finally on 1480, she would marry the Prince of Girona, John on 1480.

Princess Anne would dominate her husband, John on his reign and the marriage would produce two children, Catherine (December 2, 1483) and Charles(December 2, 1490), while her brother would marry the young Isabella of Aragon, they would have Catherine of Aragon proposed to be betrothed to Afonso of Portugal but Isabella would have preferred Margaret of Berry or Anne of York as they would be able to have children sooner.
 
Chapter 6
On 1479, Mary of Burgundy would start to consummate her marriage with the young Philibert of Savoy which would result with three more children; Philip(May 10, 1480), Charlotte(June 4, 1483) and Charles(June 4, 1490), Charles would be sent to an ecclesiastical education, while Philip would marry Yolande(May 2, 1483), the only daughter of Rene of Lorraine and Jeanne de Harcourt.

Mary of Burgundy would now arrange the marriages of his daughters, Margaret and Isabella, she would arrange the betrothal of Margaret to Prince Edward of Wales and the younger Isabella to Alfonso, Prince of Asturias, this would mean that Burgundy would have relations with England and Spain.

Mary of Burgundy would endow, Princess Margaret of her Artois inheritance which would be a part of the Pale of Calais.
 
Chapter 7

Margaret of Normandy

Prior to Edward IV dying, Margaret of Normandy, the daughter of Mary of Burgundy arrived and seen the disappearance of her fiancé, Edward V in the tower would affect her health for some what and she would be betrothed to Edward of Middleham, the son of Richard III on the death of her fiancé, she would take care of her new fiancé and nurse him to health and the two marry on 1490.

Elizabeth of York and Cecily of York would be sent to marry insignificant men who Richard III would believe that would not claim their crown for Elizabeth of York, she would marry Manuel of Beja and for Cecily she would be the new Duchess of Brittany after the death of his previous wife, Margaret of Foix, a relative of the King of Aragon and Navarre.

Richard III would remarry to Joanna of Portugal after the death of his first wife, Anne Neville on 1485, which would improve his bloodline connections to the continental monarchs.
