I love that.
P. S: where Petrograd and Moscow are?
P. P. S: what's the level of control the Russian Empire have over its actual territory? What's its demographics?

Much like before, not much different, though there's enough going on to make me want to post another part.
Inability to think of any good ideas has prevented me from making another part so far, but I figured out something anyhow.

Part 7, the most holy of parts.
One year has come and gone.
Libya has allied with France and friends, making Morocco continually nervous.
Speaking of Morocco, their battle with the Western Saharan rebels in turning against them.
Nigeria meanwhile, has begun offering military support to Cameroon, though the front lines remain the same.
Venezuelan, Cuban, and Ecuadorean forces push further into Colombia, Guyana and Brazil; those three begin looking for anybody to help them turn the tide.
Iran begins to sweat nervously as Pakistan and its (puppets) allies join the Saudi lead coalition.
Far right nationalists in Russia continue to gain grounds, taking all of Karelia and the Murmansk Oblast. Rumors of genocidal actions against non-Russians in the area abound.
Said nationalists also begin leading incursions into the lands of former Russian territories. Brussels begins to suspect they might have to do something.
the Russian nationalists in Ukraine agree to a ceasefire with the Visegrad forces to fight the fascists.
Also Belarus has joined the Visegrad group. Not much else to say about that really.
India meanwhile is starting to feel put off by the U.S. and China supporting Pakistan, and is starting to consider being more helpful to Iran.

Part 8, that's like, four two's!
Venezuelan forces manage to hold their ground in Colombia, Venezuela, and Guyana, though have been pushed back somewhat.
Ecuador in particular is having issues as Peru enters the war on the side of Colombia and friends. Mexico also allies with Colombia, and invades the western tip of Cuba.
Sudan and Somalia join Iran's alliance, while Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan join the Saudi-Pakistani coalition.
The far right nationalists in the U.K. have been defeated, and London feels rather shaken by the whole ordeal.
Ambazonian forces in Cameroon are being pushed back, just in time for Igbo nationalist to rise up in Nigeria.
West Saharan nationalists are being pushed back, though causalities are mounting.
The Russian nationalists continue to make ground in the north-west, pushing into Russia's neighbors with full force, and instigating large uprising in the south as well.
With this in mind, Brussels has finally decided "screw it" and have announced their intention to intervene in the civil war in Russia.
The Visegrad nations meanwhile look to the west and respond "it's about time you bums".
Through all of this, India continues to feel uncomfortable about Pakistan's continued support from China and the U.S.

Just a small update on my technocratic universe. This one is about the European union in the year 1948.

1948EU.png

The European Union:

Poland:
The original European Technocracy, the heart of the Eastern European industrial empire and the EU. Poland is considered by many a model Technocratic country.

Yugoslavia:
The second most powerful state in the EU, along with its “protectorate” Greece. Currently they are in opposition to the centrist (Polish) EU government. Yugoslavia is a moderately prosperous country.

Serbia:
The founding nation of Yugoslavia, the Serbs are strongly pro union. Not very nationalist thought, since any talk like that would break up the union.

Vojvodina:
Serbian puppet “ally”

Kosovo:
Currently being “integrated” by Serbia. Kosovo is a bit restive.

Montenegro:
Serbia's little friend, close to Serbia.

Albania:
Really hates Serbia.

Bosnia:
It’s like OTL Belgium; full of discontent especially among the Bosniaks, who got the short end of the stick.

Herceg-Bosnia:
Strongly pro Croat.

East Bosnia:
Strongly pro Serb.

Croatia:
Once an enemy of the Serbians, now both countries are content to fight the Poles. Both sides have put aside their differences and are get along swimmingly (kinda).

Macedonia:
Much bigger (and richer) than IOTL, Macedonia is quite happy to ally itself with whoever is running the country.

Slovenia:
Slovenia is the preenial swing state, it’s like Florida, but weirder, generally the elections here are the most competitive in the Technocratic Bloc.

West Russia (PTF):
The Technocratic half of Russia, a bit of a wasteland compared to the USSR. Mostly poor and rural.

Naples:
The naval power of the EU, slightly more industrial than OTL South Italy. Soaking up oil money from the Libyan colonies.

East Germany (DTB):
After the defeat of the German confederation, Germany was divided into its constituent countries. Nevertheless, the states were reunited, the defeated Prussians are still trying to get everyone to wörk.

Prussia:
The ones trying to get everyone to wörk. They have plans to reunite Germany.

Mecklenburg:
Solidly in the Prussia camp.

Bavaria:
The economic and political powerhouse of the country. The Bavarians are fine letting the Prussians do the menacing talking while they do the deals.

Silesia:

Ever since the war, Silesia has been under Polish influence, as stipulated by treaty.

Thuringia:
Torn between the Prussians and the Bavarians, Thuringia generally is the deciding factor in elections.

Khazaria:
A Jewish state where the other EU countries dumped their Jewish diaspora. Now a minor power. Only country in the world with nukes (for now).

Tunisia:
European by convenience, not by geography.

Ukraine:
The primary mediator between the Yugoslav and Polish factions. It’s one part swing country, two parts minor faction leader.

Aragon:

A hotbed of Catalan nationalism, Aragon has no intention of ever rejoining Spain, thank you very much.

Gibraltar:
Controlled by Aragon, to the chargin of the Spanish.

Iceland:
Mostly harmless.

Czechoslovakia:
An important country in the EU, since the capital of the EU, Prague, is here. The government frets about the closeness of Slovakia to Poland

Czechia:
A center for politics, Czechia is like OTL Washington. The state government is careful to be balanced.

Slovakia:
In the Polish sphere, Slovakia is an invaluable ally

Romania:
Romania is a fractious nation where there is a constant struggle for power among the political parties. The confederation is designed to guarantee no one party can take over the country. Even though the country is politically open, the shadow of the Ceausescu government still looms over the country.

Bulgaria:
Well within the influence of Yugoslavia, Bulgaria is substantially richer than IOTL due to competent economic planning.

Lithuania:
Allies with Poland but nothing more than that (the Commonwealth is never coming back Poland).

Latvia:
Riga is host to the financial markets of the Technocratic bloc.

Estonia:

A small, but rich country, Estonia is the most technologically advanced country in the world. It serves as the testing ground for new Technocratic policies.

Finland:
Finland is a normal technocratic country. The EU occasionally exiles some “undesirables” to northern Finland. It’s very cold.

Georgia:
Georgia is on the frontier of the EU. As such, the country is on edge, and there is fear of an uprising especially a Liberal uprising, since it is near pro-liberal Armenia.

Polotsk:
A small country in the Polish sphere. The Russian minority in the country has been partially excluded from governance. Many dissatisfied Russians have joined the liberals. Still, it’s better being here than in Russia

Malta:
Not that interesting

Cyprus:
Much more stable and less fractious, mostly due to the fact that both East Turkey, and Greece are under foreign administration. The Cypriots are just happy not to be part of either.

Got a request on deviantart for this.
It's a greater mongol empire with generally accurate (but could probably use more improvement) borders.

Cue collapse in 3, 2, 1 and...

Ironically, Japan may come out very well once the Mongol Empire collapses inside out. It be exposed to far more trade than they were in OTL and in turn the introduction of new crops/agricultural techniques/industries as it did in many other places that the Mongols invaded. Any lost of population would quickly come around and the state will become much more centralized and borrow heavily from Chinese and Mongol administrative and military practices such as a centralized army and more efficient taxation.
