When Germany launched operation Barbarossa, the Soviet Union scrambled to Evacuate its industry, the colossal undertaking which moved over 50,000 factories and workshop, was met with initial mixed results as it was very disorganised and many factories lacked materials, and it ultimately didn't prevent the defeat of the USSR, but it would have an unexpected side effect years later when all these factories served as the cornerstone of the rump union's industrial capacity.

In history, few insurgencies were successful without foreign help, and while the Slavic Insurgencies in Nazi Occupied were among the fiercest ever, part of their striking success can be attributed by the large amount of ammunition, medicines, explosives, rifles or clothing that were smuggled from the Soviet Union

The USSR was in a bad state after being slowly pushed back beyond the Archangelsk Astrakhan line, devoid of a stable leadership, and destabilzed by the flow of millions of refugees, the country struggled to get back on its feets, but thanksfully the germans, already overstretched, exhausted from 3 years of war and lacking fuel, couldn't sustain further pushes. with this partial respite, the USSR managed to, chaotically, reestablishing what the industrial base they had however, lacking quality material, they focused on making low quality materials, that any refugee could produce in factories and that could be useful to the militias and rebels slowly they managed to establish a large scale industry in the urals, setting them apart to the warlord states in siberia

The guns and explosives they produced were used by their small forces, but lacking organisation they often weren't very effective and the opposing german armies, even as overstretched as they were, managed to hold key point for nearly a decade, although some cities, like Gorky, changed hand several time, however they would be very effective in the hand of partisans. The guns, easily smuggled through the A-A line - in fact more of a vast expanse of sporadic fighting between Germany and various rebels - would allow various rebel group to control vast stretch of lands outside of the Heer's communication and transport axis, and launch raids against the latter.

The Industries of the USSR, even lacking in quality compared to even german ones during the civil war, gave them a huge advantage, compared to other russian states, and were one of the reasons the union managed to slowly retake most of its former territories during the 1950s and the first half of the 1960s, the support given to various rebels groups in the reichskomissariat also gave them legitimacy and allowed them to influence the groups, so that ukraine and belarus quickly became part of the USSR when they rose against the germans

East Asia meanwhile has very interestingly become the last holdout of the (White) Anglo-American tradition, and continues to be the home to Earth’s most faithful followers of the Second Baptist Church—though the innate Conservatism has largely been washed away by the sheer force of social changes along the centuries. The President of the Mormon Church is a Viet born and raised in Hanoi, so take that as you will.

So what’s going on in the American territories of Eurasia? Or the rest of the former American/Australian continents?

Somehow looking at that makes me nauseous  (I don't mean figuratively because it's "a disgusting projection" or something; it's a gorgeous map. Looking at it literally makes me physically nauseous, I think because of the odd orientation and projection)

Haven't quite decided what to do with Australia--though I have a somewhat clear idea about the Americas which I might type out if there is popular demand.

The Americas are divided into a plethora of city-states, nation states and a variety of other polities, though they are far too disunited to form any continent-spanning state the likes of Eurasia. Following through with the HRE paralllels, the Confederation claims rulership of the former United States, with New England signing the Samarkand Accords being liberally interpreted as the (former) federal Government signing the accords. Many states in the Great Lakes region vehemently reject Eurasia's intrusion into the Americas, and have formed a political, economic and military alliance to counter Eurasia. (roughly angulous to the Lombard League) New England (and the Maratimes) are happy with Eurasian rule, and have been granted an exceptional degree of self-determination. Some, of course, feel that Eurasia's focus on land-based trade is not beneficial to New England's economy, and calls for succession flare up every few decades.

I would hope so, considering that they're appallingly racist.

It's sometimes hard to tell between "racist" and "sarcastically mocking racists" on the internet.

A cool scenario, @Xianfeng Emperor ! Just one quibble:

In the 29th Century, the cities of Samarkand, Astana and Kashgar were some of the wealthiest on Earth. The irrigation of the Gobi had created agricultural superpowers in a desert wasteland,

none of these cities are located in or near the Gobi.
