Did an observer game in 1836. My one vote was in Delaware.

I can explain!

Governor Ann Richards/ Senator Joe Biden
Former Vice President Colin Powell/ Congresswoman Maureen Reagan
Former Governor Jerry Brown/ Activist Winona LaDuke
President Dan Quayle/ Reverend Pat Robertson

and coming in fifth place...

Former Governor Bill Clinton/ Senator David Boren.

The year is 1996....

I post as "RI Democrat" over on the 270soft boards and have created a few alternate history scenarios - a 1983 United Commonwealth (UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand as one country), a 1990 UK scenario based on "V for Vendetta," and one based on my ongoing "America as Parliamentary Democracy" timeline on this board. I'm also reworking an old idea based on Ireland remaining part of the UK and a near-future scenario where the EU makes some changes to its election systems.

4 years later....

Vice President Maureen Reagan (CA)/ Senator George W Bush (TX)
President Ann Richards (TX)/ Senator Hillary Rodham (IL)
Businessman Donald Trump (NY)/ Media proprietor Oprah Winfrey (IL)
Fmr. Governor Jerry Brown (CA)/ Dr. Jill Stein (MA)
Governor Gary Johnson (NM)/ Activist Steve Kubby (CA)
Senator Bob Smith (Con-NH)/ Dr. Curtis Frazier (Con-MO)

And yet again Congress must decide who will be president...

President Dan Quayle (IN)/ Gen. Colin Powell (NY)
Fmr. Gov. Jerry Brown (CA)/ Fmr Sen. Paul Tsongas (MA)
Fmr Rep Ron Paul (TX)/ Atty Nancy Lord (NV)
Businessman Ross Perot (TX)/ Dr. Bernadine Healy (OH)

And a quick rundown of Presidents

1989-1992 George HW Bush 1
1992-1997 Dan Quayle
1997-2001 Ann Richards
2001-2003 Maureen Reagan 2
2003-2005 George W Bush
2005-? Donald Trump

1. Atm I have Bush 41 dying of a brain embolism after hitting his head on a table at the infamous Japanese dinner.
2. Reagan 44 is hospitalized in fall of 2003, leaving Veep Bush as Acting President.

I'll pick this up next week.

I have a couple of questions relating to editing.

1. How can I make new states? Like for example, taking southern Oregon and northern California to make the proposed state of Jefferson?

2. Is it possible to change a state from one political column to a different one? I'm modding some scenarios that less states and need to balance the parties.

And this is for President Infinity.

Thank you

Election 2008:

Senator Hillary Rodham (IL)/ Fmr Sen. Al Gore (TN)
Fmr Gov. John E. Bush (FL)/ Rep. Paul Ryan (WI)
President Donald Trump (NY)/ Sen. Herman Cain (GA)
Sen. John S. McCain (AZ)/ Fmr. Sen. Joe Lieberman (CT)

View attachment 350567

Gov. Richard Friedman (TX)/ San Francisco Mayor Matt Gonzalez (CA)
Talk show host Stephen Colbert (SC)/ Fmr. Gov. Mike Huckabee (AR)
Rep. Ron Paul (TX)/ Rev. Chuck Baldwin (FL)
Gov. Jon Huntsman (UT)/ Fmr. Sen. Mike Gravel (AK)

whew...and the Democrats have a majority in the house and senate under Speaker Barney Frank* and Senate Majority leader Caroline Kennedy.

EDIT: I used the President Cheney pi scenario as a template for this.

P.S. I want to do at least two more in the "Sushi, flowers, and brown potatoes'' saga, with at least one involving the Hatch amendment. Meanwhile I'm doing ground work on a long series of pi scenarios involving the US after the loss of the south. But before that, I want to explore following elections in the previously posted Perot victory. Please ready yourself for sci-fi shenanigans!

EDIT: Whoops the results don't match I'll have to redo this
