President Forever and other 270soft games Megathread

Here is another one, this time Trump vs. Clinton 2016. I played this on easy just for the "lulz" I swept every single state and DC, with absolutely no CheatEngine. Easy is way too easy for me, but like I say I did it for the fun.

Oh, sorry for a triple post, but keep your eyes peeled, I am currently working on a scenario for the Florida 2014 gubernatorial election. The map is done, I am inputting fill data for counties, updating population values, eligible voters, and party leanings right now. With 67 counties, this takes quite a while, so bear with me, I have maybe a quarter done, so depending on how my RL events go, I would say expect a beta release in about 2 weeks, I try to work on it mainly on weekends where I am not overboard with work, I work as the IT Manager for a real estate agency so yeah my timetable is full most days, Sunday is the day I get most of the work on it done. Stay tuned as I have yet to see anyone create Florida scenarios, and this opens the door for not only gubernatorial, but senate races aswell. We will see how it goes.

Interesting game of Congress Infinity. Played as an observer and watched the Democrats narrowly win some seats. Texas was won by just 0.6% while Pennsylvania was won by 0.5%.

In RL that result would be absolutely chaotic. The Republicans would probably still hold control of the House on those numbers, and would have the opportunity to vote for McMuffin (given that he won electoral votes). But they'd be immense pressure from the base for them to re-elect Trump. They'd also be pressure from the American public at large to elect someone other than Trump (who lost the PV again). Jeez.

I still don't get UK elections. I get U.S and Canadian elections but not UK.

The UK is a parliamentary democracy, where instead of directly electing a Prime Minister people vote for MPs of parties in order to decide who becomes Prime Minister. On the British mainland, there are the two major parties, Labour which is a left-wing socialist party and the Conservatives who are a right-wing free market party. Minor parties include the Liberal Democrats (centrist, pro-reform), UKIP (pro-Brexit, right-wing populist), the Greens (typical green politics), the Scottish Nationalist Party (Scottish independence), and Plaid Cymru (Welsh regionalism). In Northern Ireland many of the parties that run there run only there and no where else, and the major parties don't field candidates there due to the peace process.
