What does the demographic profile of this country look like?
110% white
What does the demographic profile of this country look like?
I'm pretty sure it is majority white since they expelled all of their black population to the Bantustans
Then unless there was a massive wave of European immigration at some point, this would be a very empty country.

Quick, dumb little thing I made by flipping countries' numbers on the Democracy Index backwards (for instance, Norway got a 9.87 on the original, so it gets a 7.89 here). It's worth noting that there are a bunch of countries (Sweden, Australia, Germany, Uruguay, Chile, Slovakia, Jamaica, Brazil, Liberia, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Jordan, Kuwait, Cambodia, Libya, and Chad) that kept their OTL ranks thanks to numeric palindromes.
So this is a map I made as a sequel to the above map and its universe lore. @Comte de Dordogne I decided I'll make more maps of this universe. I'm thinking of making a map of ttl's Iron Curtain in the future.
One of the events that occur here is that the Italian monarchy barely manages to win the referendum on retaining the monarchy (In otl there was a lot of speculation that the election was rigged in the Republican favor). In ttl things like more monarchist turnout and the Pope supporting the Crown helps them gain victory. King Umberto II rules as a highly popular Constitutional Monarch. Though as a result of fears of a Communist insurrection after the fall of mainland Greece a military coup briefly takes place until the situation stabilizes. Though the government in Italy is more Parliamentary in character. Though unlike in Spain, or the UK the monarchy here has some more power here that it uses though it has become more liberalized over time. The survival of the Italian monarchy inspires the later restoration of the Portuguese monarchy after the death of its dictator which liberalizes much like Spain under King Juan Carlos.
This is a map of Italy and the Balkans in the Year 2000, after the collapse of the Soviet Union and its various Communist Satellite States.
Greece here is restored as a monarchy. And in reaction to the harsh soviet Repression of dissent and religion, a large political backlash occurs where monarchism experiences a revival in Eastern Europe/the Balkans. In Romania the deposed King Michael returns to massive crowds. In a popular uprising against the tyrant Ceausescu and his regime, a new monarchist government is put in place with large swathes of ordinary citizens and rank-and-file soldiers defecting to him where in a self-coup he reassumes his Crown. Thanks to his own personal popularity, the monarchy in Romania emerges much like its Greek contemporary in a more executive fashion rather than the King serving as a figurehead in a ceremonial capacity. Here in this tl Molodovia is annexed into the Kingdom while Transnistria is ceded to Ukraine. And within Transylvania the new government grants autonomy to the Hungarian minority areas to foster greater relations with the new Hungarian and later Habsburg government.
Thanks to the hardliner coup and attempted intervention in Hungary by the Soviet Union prior to its civil war and ultimate collapse, the Hungarians view the Habsburg with more nostalgia and romanticism with the monarchy becoming popular again. And following its independence, King Otto is reinstated as its King in a popular referendum with the backing of other European monarchies and the papacy. A similar referendum is held within Austria which also passes with the Austria-Hungary restored albeit in a very much reduced capacity with a different framework. Thanks to the chaos of the collapse of yugoslavia, the Slovenes look to ally with the Hungarians and Austrians and offer the Crown to the Habsburgs. Here the Empire is recreated as a triple monarchy though its a federated Commonwealth of nations each with their own independent governments with a common military and economic arrangements united under the Habsburg dynasty. Though the monarchy here is more Parlimentary with the Habsburgs serving in a similar capacity much like the House of Windsor in the UK. The formal name of the triple monarchy is the Imperial Habsburg Commonwealth of the Empire of Austria, Kingdom of Hungary, and Kingdom of Slovenia. Though unofficially/colloquially its also called the Danubian Monarchy/Federation
Within Bulgaria Tsar Simeon is elected in a massive lanslide as Prince-President where he goes on to restore the monarchy.
After the violent collapse of Yugoslavia, the new Serbian Government mostly discredited seeking to create a fresh start for its nation holds a referendum on whether to restore the monarchy which passes. A similar result occurs in Montenegro and Albania.
In ttl Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania are major economic powers known as the Balkan Tigers as a result of their massive economic growth with the three forming major economic ties with each other. Though unlike in otl, these nations don't join the EEC and prefer to have their own individual economic policies. Unlike in otl, the EEC never really becomes the EU, and this avoids things like the Greek economic collapse of the later 2000's.
What do you guys think of this map and timeline?
I'd love to see how the world could have gotten this way, what must have changed to make this come out. It's a very interesting premise!View attachment 586008

I didn't watch the nazi loli anime; is there a difference between Kreis, Kriese and Kreise, or is there typos involved? How does a kreise/kriese/kreis republic or kingdom differ from a plain vanilla republic or kingdom?

Mostly it simply hurt and “kries“ is clearly a typo, I may not be expect in German but I know enough that the term hurts, and honestly the only ideological meaning I canfind behindtye term would use “bund” (league, confederation, federation) instead.
What is the west coast of America like? Is the country more liberal or conservative than OTL?View attachment 585912
Based on my Timeline. (Which this map may or may not be canon in the future)
Approx 16 million years ago, a large earthquake occurs in the Cascadian mountains resulting in it splitting from the rest of North America. During the ice age, Humans would both walk and swim to the island, however, due to it, distance is less populated than it is in the OTL. By the 1530s the Spanish would begin colonizing lower California. Due to its distance, California was mostly colonized at its coast. The Spanish were forced to allow others such as English and french to settle in their lands thus allowing it to grow, however, it is culturally different from the rest of the Spanish Empire. History continues on for the same until the 1830s when the British begin colonizing the North of California. In the south, the British would colonize Patagonia thanks to em occupying Spanish ports in the Napoleonic wars and begin colonization. After Mexico's independence, the Mexicans would annex California despite the people there mainly being English. Eventually, the Mexican-American war occurred and Southern California declares independence. In the 1860s all of California was settled by the British or English settlers. However, the northerners were very rebellious and were prone to republicanism. In 1868 the Northern Californians succeeded from Britain and join the south, which was supported by the US. In 1870 the two states united into the Republic of California.
With most of the US coast being block by a large island, the Americans ended their expansion. Alaska was never bought and remain in Russian hands. Hawaii also remains a British protectorate and later a colony. WW1 still occurs with California joining the entente in October 1914. The Russian revolution still occurs as well as the civil war, however, the Whites would flee to Alaska avoiding utter destruction. They soon establish the Republic of Alaska from the Soviets. The US still joins and the CP still collapses.WW2 would eventually occur in 1939 however with Hawaii under the British control, the Japanese would just invade the British colonial possessions without any squabble from the USA, as pearl harbour was never owned by the Americans. The Eastern front-ended in a stalemate with the Germans or Russians unable to destroy each other. Peace was soon signed between the two factions. Over the next years, a 3-way cold war occurred between the US, USSR and Nazi Germany. It is now 1980 and most of the European empires have collapsed. The US is looking like it will reach victory in the cold war with Germany and Russia on the sea of collapsed as well as japan whose empire has dismantled.

Kreis is singular in German for circle. Kreise is plural (circles). Kriese is a typo but that's just due to being used to having ie in English rather than ei. The Holy Roman Empire used the term kreis in this context. And the anime has a lot of mixing of when a word from the nation's language vs English/Japanese (depending on the translation) is used in a nation's name, so I sought to mimic that. See my reply above for the explanation. There's also a lot of awkward phrasing in canon (like Legadonia Entente Alliance or Czwartek Union Republic). It matters that they are a Republic styled off the Francois vs an Albish-style kingdom, hence the use of Republic or Kingdom rather than Bund, Reich, or Staat.
EDIT: Also, I only made the typo twice out of 5 times. Kreis was right for Lotharingia, Kreise was correct for the Empire and for M-Z. Only a two-letter switch on Nord and Sud-Ost, not sure why it should be called "painful".
