I like to imagine there would have been a "Laurens pamphlet" rather than a Reynolds pamphlet... although maybe in that case Hamilton would think twice before spilling his guts

I doubt there would be money exchange between Hamilton and Laurens.
Could laurens serve as aid to Treasury Secretary, giving advice and helping by being in the room where it happens.
