WI: Hinduism and Buddhism persists in the Philippines

Is it possible that even with the Spanish Christianization of the Philippines for the islands to have Hinduism and Buddhism to survive as a strong minority religion.

Could their be another analog to the Moro people, one in which they are Hindu-Buddhist and have resisted Spain attempt to conquer and Christianize them?

Could the Rajahnate of Butuan be the best option for Hinduism/Buddhism to survive in Philippines on Mindanao resisting Spain at every attempt to Christianize and conquer them?

The religion of parts of cordilleras are hindu influenced or syncretic with hinduism...

the choice for that is a rump independent northern luzon state which has the upper pampanga and cagayan river basins..that state will be hindu.

Here is the TL inspired of this thread.
