Sort of (in my view) - there are ethnic-interest parties that don’t compete outside their districts, and some of the cross-constituency parties are formally separated into different groups, but for all intents and purposes most parties run in all groups. Which is not to say that there aren’t significant differences from a straight-up FPTP Legislature.Would the ethnic assemblies have different parties to the all-ethnicity legislature?
I think these proxy wars will probably start in the mid 30s-40s. I don't know how long this "cold war" thing should last. Should it be throughout the century like OTL, our should it be a briefer thing?Seems fine for 20s/30s/40s.

Without the threat of MAD, I doubt a 'Cold War' would last that long before either war or detente.
But is there an insensitive to have nukes? I feel like a detente will happen, maybe 50s? 60s? That’s around the same time that the OTL African colonies gained independence. The idea is fear of war, after a even more tragic WWI holds politicians in check. Even if the leaders want war, the people have memories. But yes, I feel the natural endpoint might be decolonization when governments free their colonies to local governments to prevent unfriendly revolts, or they have already revolted. Same time, the old generations are falling away in favor of ones who don't have any memory of the tragedy. And if there are no nukes yet...

So because of their shared goals, would they compete or cooperate? And I would assume the GP they would not want to grow to big would be Brazil.Another thing I forgot from the GP rundown last week, Colombia is a lesser GP, and right now her main concerns are similar to the other American GP - America. Try and forge some stability in Mexico, and prevent another Gp from getting too big of a presence in the Americas.
I like that idea, a sort of NDP for the UK. Interesting.-UK Lib party never collapses because they don't get involved in War, instead the turnout point of British Politics is the economic collapse. The collapse gives birth to the Liberal-Labour Cooperative party, basically just OTL Labour except the extreme left has its own party.
Maybe, although I’m surprised that it’s not La Plata. I’m sure revolutionaries are sick and tired of the status quo, so why wouldn’t they rebel and form a socialist state?-Chile may prove a fertile ground for Socialism.
Seems fine, probably Italy would back them more since the IRA would probably be left-leaning at least.-Ireland becomes something of a backyard quagmire for the Commonwealth, thanks to covert support from Ita or Ger.
You know what, the “socialized church” idea sounds cool. Maybe we can play with that, and maybe have two popes, the Avignon Pope and the “Socialized” Pope.-Where does the pope go post Rev? I'm thinking he is hanging out in his old French home. Might be even weirder if Spain and Italy go a route that involves creating a "Socialized Church."
Definitely, probably be British-built, and they would probably have it be a full on dominion by now, if not before. This would probably be the divide between North and South America, unless America is one continent.-Trans-America Canal is definitely in Nicaragua, and should be built by now.
Oh and I changed the color of Russia to show a coup d'etat (that I think would probably happen) that makes the government stronger, perhaps under a military rule or the Tsar, or something.map of the result of detente after the *cold war. @Oryxslayer thoughts?
That's what I figured it might be.Sort of (in my view) - there are ethnic-interest parties that don’t compete outside their districts, and some of the cross-constituency parties are formally separated into different groups, but for all intents and purposes most parties run in all groups. Is Italy still socialist in the present day?
