London in 28 Weeks Later. Does not really look that post-apocalyptic considering it's only six months since the outbreak. So we don't see much of rusty cars or foliage growing on the roads.

Just another day for the ducks.

The ducks, flower garden, and apparently working electrical system (moving trolley, red light @ crossing), make for a not-too-depressing scene. But what's up with the sea turtles?
I assume the sea levels rose. Or saltwater encroached making it suitable for some marine life.

The recent earthquake that hit the Philippines last week. The historic town of Vigan was damaged, thus giving it some post-apocalyptic aesthetics.

One of the iconic covers for Crossed which depicts a group of castaways in a Pacific island while a rusting, beached submarine (either a Virginia-class or a Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine) rests ont he background.
