Just going to say that for TNO, sucessful Speer run that ends in Fascist+Scorza+Magadan is one of the most cursed end for the world from an anti-fascist pov. While Fascist Speer won't be as bad as Bormann or Goering at their worst as much of an opportunistic scum as he is, the fate of humanity is now defined by effective evil, a repressive machine that should have crashed a long time ago refining and upgrading itself.

While other terrible endings may be a bit more excessively genocidal, having fascism live and "upgrade" itself may be a bit more unsettling than fascism dying in one last genocidal assault on everything

In future updates once more nations get content I'd like to see just how fucked up a "efficient Blackshirt World" Earth would be by jumping around as much nations as possible, especially if custom path submods appear.

"I am the future. I have forged this entire planet into a single elegant machine. A vision of technological purity and order!"-hypothetical fascist earth super event
The Speer ending where he gets couped by the gang of four has got to be one of the more satisfying endings though. Made me want to play the eventual timeline extension to 1982.

Well now that I have heard what came of reformist speer path its time to try Fascist Speer!

Fascist Speer is arguably worse for humanity than Bormann or Goring assuming that his reforms are enough to make the Nazi system reform and persist. I mean, he still maintains slavery, so the worst evil the Reich perpetrates continues on, and his system is much more likely to last.

Honestly my hot take is that a Goring victory is the best route for humanity in general, since he'll likely initiate a bunch of wars and fail humiliatingly. Goring's path is the most likely to lead to the fall of Naziism, and furthermore it leaves that ideology most discredited.

I'd say that Heydrich nuclear ending discredits Nazism more.

Trying a China runthrough right now, and so far I’m enjoying it a ton.

The Coca Cola event chain is a amusing, but on the other hand I can totally see why China would legitimately be worried about potentially addicting products after the opium wars

I'm really loving the mod, but I hope the devs eventually patch it so that the AI cannot start nuclear wars so easily.

In my three-ish games played (SBA to 1971, USA to the mid-70s, Scotland to early '64) I haven't had any nuclear wars, and in one of them (the Glenn! run) I was actually able to establish a massive-scale demobilization and dismantling of most nuclear weapons between the Big Three.

I guess I need to play more long TNO games to see the world destroy itself, now, do I?

So I played Scorza till the end in the 70s.

And well a focus path appears where it involves you further consolidating your powers. And what results is a rebellion in Venice.

Didn't like how linear it was since you push for harsh policy that result in a Civil Uprising. I mean everything I did to reform Fascist Ideology (From Gender Equality; to supporting the Youth; to the Fascist Empire - Equality.) felt like it all went to waste. That and I wish I had the option not to be harsh in that section of the national focus.

I think this was kinda the point. To show that a compentent fascism surviving to the present day would be unsettling as hell, and the effective fascism would be more unsettling than a network of genocidal ultraviolent empires blowing each other up. This explains the fascist Speer path and maybe some other fascist figures as well that may be compent and how they are framed.

Can’t wait to see how unsettling the Reformist wing of the eurasianists, fascist Samara, and a non-authdem fash Magadan will be

Something I saw over on Reddit, about Erhard's economic reforms bearing fruit after a Speer victory in the German Civil War:

While many have commented about how reading this beings joy to their hearts on how wholesome it is, as Germany is bringing herself back from the brink under the reformers, for me personally, this political comic from Hong Kong published back in the early 1990s' commenting on China's economic reforms under Deng Xiaoping was literally the first thing that came to mind. Honestly, just replace the hammer and sickle with a Nazi swastik, and it all fits the situation perfectly:

Then again, I was thinking that Fascist Italy could turn out like Present-Day China.

I'm posting this because this was already posted on the Reddit and on the TVTROPES page.

So guys, do you remember that China can go all ideologies apart from burgundyan system? Not all these ideologies are for the KMT. The first path I saw is Long Yun, here:

I gonna try his route tomorrow, I hope it's cool.

So where does Dai Li stand? I mean we all thought he was going to be the Ultranationalist.

Maybe Dai Li leads a Blueshirt Partisans Group who are Fascists or the National Socialists of China.
