Before, During, and After
From left to right:
1.)
JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA: South African police engaging "rioters" (later determined to be zombies) in Johannesburg during the initial stages of the Great Panic. Though initially believed to have originated in the RSA (hence the prewar term "African Rabies"), subsequent studies conducted by the UN Postwar Commission have come to suggest that the zombie plague likely originated in the former PRC.
2.)
ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM: UK military convoy passes by a derelict civilian vehicle during the reclamation of Great Britain.
3.)
WEST AFRICA: UN Postwar Commission research convoy in West Africa passes by an armed "neighborhood watch" member after conducting interviews in a nearby town, several years after VA Day.

Aftermath
From left to right:
1.)
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: Artist's depiction of postwar reconstruction efforts in Seoul, South Korea.
2.)
ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM: Deserted postwar highway in the UK countryside. Car ownership rates have declined in many parts of the world in large part due to the destruction of parts manufacturers and devastation of petroleum production brought about by the war. Cars like the BMW Z4 "are not made anymore."
3.)
BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA: Soldiers of the Bosnian Army (OSBiH) conduct a zombie control patrol at a village in Herzegovina postwar. Even several years after VA Day, remnant zombie stragglers still remain a problem in many parts of the world, with various containment efforts made by UN member states.
