From left to right:
1.) NORTH ISLAND, NEW ZEALAND - Military presence on the streets at the start of the Great Panic.
2.) MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MARYLAND - Uncontrolled fires burn in a town a few miles outside Washington, D.C. at the height of the Great Panic.
3.) TORONTO, CANADA - Abandoned Toronto streetscape more than 7 years into the war. It would be 4 more years before the city would finally be reclaimed and declared zombie-free.

Academi contractors in Costa Rica. Various private military companies offered their services to embattled Central American Nations in their post-war operations against wandering zombies. Costa Rica was one of the countries that hired Academi since it was badly affected by World War Z due to abolishing its military in 1948. The remnants of the merger police force was reinforced with mercenaries and private contractors in clearing the country.

Various contractors were deployed to White Zones to assist the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces in purging what remains of the undead.
