The thread doesn't need there to be a 'big deal' in regards to the alternate timeline. Just that A) its an image, and B) its from an alternate timeline. I would hardly characterise the dozens of alternate castings that have been uploaded to be big deals. It's just interesting to look at alternate bits of media.

The Free City of Pentos one of the first nation's to arrive in the New World following the Great Storm and one of the first too come under fire. Famine striking the great city hard with the loss of its old trade routes and surrounding countryside. With mass unrest and riots running wild through the streets as the Magisters hold over the "servant" population began to collapse in the face of civil unrest. Leaving it easy prey for the sea raiders that emerged in this new world. Pentos would stand on the edge for several years, until ironically being saved by its own conqueror.
Harry Maybourne better known to history as Good King Arkhan the First. Was the much beloved ruler of the Arkhanites when the Great Storm had swept across his lands and deposited it onto the New World. A wise and cunning leader who had successfully won the hearts of his people. Introducing various technological innovations and political & military reforms, greatly improving the lives of his people. First encountering the Pentosi several years after the Great Storm the surviving city Magisters sought to settle the surrounding countryside.
At first thinking they could turn this Arkhan into a vassal of Pentos or merely conquer his people. Now that old Braavosi anti-slavery laws were revoked. Only for their incursions into Arkhan's lands to be brutally crushed repeatedly over the span of two years. With Maybourne proving to be deadly and cunning military leader with an army that while small to the likes of Pentosi was battle hardened, disciplined and finely equipped. As opposed to the cobbled together mobs assembled from the Pentos slums and their unmotivated sellsword commanders. With the scavenged goa'uld staff weapons proving particularly devastating.
Eventually managing to conquer Pentos with the semi unwitting aid of the legendary warrior princess Xena. Having not the warrior woman the full extent of his plans. Though for his part Arkhan kept his part of the deal richly rewarding Xena for her part in the fall of the Magisters. Surprising her when he avoided sacking the supposedly Free City and instead trying to embrace the image of a liberator to the masses. With his reign over the rechristened Arkhanopolis proving to be one of prosperity and reform. With the introduction of universal education, gradual emancipation, a professional standing army, new public works and a revised legal system. Proving himself truly dedicated to living up to his title of Good King.
Spending years integrating the surrounding warlord domains into the Kingdom of Arkhania and stabilizing the region. Encouraging the development of new trade routes. Both protected by the might of his legions that would prove to be some the finest in the kingdom both during his reign and that of his children and grandchildren.
Claudia Mariana Canale is a famous romanian actress. She began her career as a participant in the national competition Mestres Romania MMDCC (2700), where she took second place. After that, she began to actively appear in films of the adventure and historical genres. Known for her roles as femme fatale. Having started acting at the age of 20, she left after she turned 37.

One of the first organizations to rise to prominence in the New World after the Great Storm. The legendary wizarding and adventuring guild Fairy Tail would quickly build a name for itself in the days to come. As it's host city Magnolia slowly reasserted itself as a trade city, expanding outward and making contact with countless new people. Who had found themselves whisked away to the new world too. With Fairy Tail quickly becoming the go too guild for exploration missions and defending trade caravans in this new wild world. Attracting new members from far & wide...
Qrow Branwen a veteran huntsman of Vale and an honorary member of the Fairy Tail guild. Fitting right in amongst the eccentric hot blooded personalities of the guild. After a fateful encounter with Fairy Tail's "strongest team" during a search and destroy mission against a pack of Grimm. Eventually becoming the unofficial intermediary between Fairy Tail and Vale... much to his utter dismay. With his own neices and their team RWBY eventually joining the guild outright a few years later.
The Black Bulls Magic Knight order of the Clover Kingdom, one of the more intact nations to arrive in the New World. While relations with it's neighbors such az Magnolia and Vale would initially be rocky at first. The actions of Wizard King Julius and the Magic Knights would help smooth things over. Allowing the establishment and growth of trade with the majority of their new neighbors. With ensuing exchange of knowledge and ideas sparking a techno-magical Renaissance across their part of the New World. The Black Bulls and Fairy Tail developing a friendly repour during several run ins and joint missions.
Though dark clouds would soon emerge on the horizon...

I'm guessing it would be a butterfly decision due to an earlier M casting.
Only time will tell who M would be in the Lazenby/Moore/Dalton remakes (but I'm doing Brosnan remakes too, so Judi Dench would be M for those ones)

Considering Stalin's USSR, Khmer Rogue, Moa's PCR and North Korea Communist and Socialist governments in general always seem like horrible ideas to me. Judging from what I assume are Chinese letters I think the PCR was somehow involved.
