WIKI-ENTRY: Casimir 16 is the sixteenth of the "Casimir" Class Earths, discovered November 6, 4265. The EUST (Extra-Universal Sensory Telescope) detected this world as a part of the Three-Thousand Sun Sweep, a massive British starveyance effort launched in part to celebrate the centennial of the Homeworld's final nuclear disarmament and the 2,558th anniversary of the foundation of the United Kingdom. Casimir 16 possesses no real notable features, except for the extraordinarily miniscule divergences from OTL. While most Outer Earths are either devoid of Homo Sapiens Sapiens or have been obliterated in nuclear apocalypse, Casimir 16 is remarkably similar to the Homeworld. While exact divergences will be difficult to trace without further investigation, it seems as if the major difference was the Soviet Union's peaceful reformation rather than the collapse that its Communist system experienced in OTL.

(Also, just FYI, the "Trotskyism" referred to in the Wiki-X Scale is not our current Trotskyism, but rather more like Italian Fascism, Maoism, and a missionary fervor to spread the ideology had a baby. Not pretty. After all, ideologies have plenty of time to grow, morph, and adapt in two thousand years. Wikipedia –now "Wiki-X"– on the other hand, will always prevail!)

A different outcome in the 1848 civil war that later lead to partitioning. The Ottomans I haven't figured out yet. They're sort of a wildcard both sides would like, granted the Franco-German bloc would be more friendlier to them given historic ties.
Actually the UK I have something special planned, but the map hasn't been edited yet.

USA, Germany, Japan and India are the biggest powers.
Britain, Italy, the Ottomans, Canada, Egypt, Persia, Brazil, Peru, Russia, Korea and South Africa round out the pact for the G15. They pretty much run the Congress of Brussels (ATL UN). There's a few hot spots in the world, but nothing like OTL.
Germany and Russia are increasingly concerned about Poland's increasingly autocratic attempts to quell the open rebellion in the east.
The Cairo summit recently gave the Ottomans, Italians and Egyptians the chance tho hash out the rights of religious minorities across North and East Africa.
Everyone dragged their feet over nuclear proliferation and now Sokoto has atomic weapons. The Congo swears they'll have one by ext Christmas (just to be safe).
