WIKI-ENTRY: Recently discovered only three weeks ago, Casimir 16 is the sixteenth of the "Casimir" Class Earths. The EUST (Extra-Universal Sensory Telescope) detected this world as a part of the Three-Thousand Sun Sweep, a massive British starveyance effort launched in part to celebrate the centennial of the Homeworld's final nuclear disarmament and the 2,558th anniversary of the foundation of the United Kingdom. Casimir 16 possesses no real notable features, except for the extraordinarily miniscule divergences from OTL. While most Outer Earths are either devoid of Homo Sapiens Sapiens or have been obliterated in nuclear apocalypse, Casimir 16 is remarkably similar to the Homeworld. While exact divergences will be difficult to trace without further investigation, it seems as if the major difference was the Soviet Union's peaceful reformation rather than the collapse that its Communist system experienced in OTL.

Counter-shitpostSo, not sure if anyone has made this shitpost yet, but here's a quick worlda map at a 30,000 ft sea level rise.
A different outcome in the 1848 civil war that later lead to partitioning. The Ottomans I haven't figured out yet. They're sort of a wildcard both sides would like, granted the Franco-German bloc would be more friendlier to them given historic ties. What happened to Switzerland, and how did the Ottomans stay out of the war? And the UK must be lucky to have gotten out of it intact.
Oh, and bonus points to whoever can guess why it's dubbed Casimir! (It's really not that hard.)

Brilliant. They even keep that lake inside for, I presume, keeping fresh water. Though why is the country green instead of orange? This isn't one of those Eurabia things, is it?So, not sure if anyone has made this shitpost yet, but here's a quick worlda map at a 30,000 ft sea level rise.
Great Map! Will this be a series? I hope so.
Named after Poland's favorite king, of course. Because Poland is really big and it "can into" space!
It's an elevation map.Though why is the country green instead of orange?
Oh... I thought there had been an Ottoman coup...It's an elevation map.
Ahhh. He really would change the country's borders to show the flood walls reaching into orbit. A good thing they go above the clouds, otherwise they would drown on a rainy day. It's an elevation map.
The effects of the Tulip trade had some rather unfortunate, long term effects.Oh... I thought there had been an Ottoman coup...

Everywhere on our earth where there is a mountain or mountain range the underside has trenches. Every island is a lake etc. Here is a video explaining it.That's a really neat concept. Any idea what weather and climate would be like on such a planet?
