You can blame Discord for making their image hosting exclusive to Discord only — stuff previously hosted on Discord will throw up an error if pasted outside of Discord itself.

Imgur is the thinking man's choice of image hosting.

Also Imgur (probably) doesnt have a Twitter that is trying so hard to be hip while coming across as the visual equivalent of nails on chalkboard.
